Frank's Appliance Repair

When I called to inquire about repairs/maintenance on my gas stove top, Frank asked a few questions about the issue and then provided some directions on a method to clean that typically took care of the issue.  He then said call back if it does fix the issue.  Following his advice, I cleaned to ignition orifice and everything worked.  While he did not directly perform the service, he was directly responsible for the resolution.
I am very impressed that he didn't require a visit for such a simple fix, though I feel bad for not paying for his time even though it was only five minutes.  I will definitely keep him at the top of my list for future problems!

Frank spent more time than he needed to trying to fix the problem. Tried several solutions, none of which worked, through not fault of his own. He didn't need to spend that much time with a 15-year-old dishwasher, but we appreciated the fact that he did. Very personable and very knowledgeable. Would not hesitate to recommend him and to use him again if necessary.

He was very professional and efficient. We would definitely use him again for any appliance repair issue we would have.

I have used Frank's appliances in the past with wonderful results. When I called on the freezer, he did a quick trouble shoot to see if there was a possibility of repairing it. We had him come out, even though he was doubtful. He looked at it and showed my husband where the problem was. It wasn't repairable. He gave good suggestions on a replacement. He also looked at my new washer to let me know the best ways to keep it functioning. And we talked about the 'efficiency' standards causing the manufactures to be unable to make machines that clean as well. In the past 5 years have had him put the trim kit up for a microwave, repair a gas range that had water spilled onto the control board (replaced board) and repair a dishwasher. All are still functioning fine. His prices are very reasonable and well worth it.

Frank did a fantastic job repairing our refrigerator. He clearly explained each part of the repair process. He also gave great advice on cleaning and maintaining our other appliances.

Technician arrived at stated time, evaluated the problem, told us what the problem was and how to fix it, quoted a fee which we accepted. He fixed the problem in 30 minutes, and cleaned up after the repair job.

I found Frank in the phonebook I believe and decided to take a chance plus he comes to Hutto where I live. He was not only professional and nice he fixed my appliances and wasn't pricey but he actually swept behind my appliances and cleaned out my bottom area on my refrigerator where I had taken out the food but had some ice cream stains. Never tried to oversell anything and gave me pointers on my other appliances to keep them healthy. Will always use him in the future.

Heard that we had a neighbor who did appliance repair and these days, I think we all need to help out our small independent businesses. Frank listened to my description of the problem, asked me a couple of questions and gave me a time when he could be at my home. He was on time, the same day. He gave a complete diagnosis and told me that he did not have the part but that if a local appliance parts store had the part he would go get it and return. He called the parts store which did have the part and promptly returned to finish the job. He was careful to make sure the water from the defrosting fridge was cleaned up and gave suggestions about the proper placement of the fridge from the walls for proper circulation. He also left the used parts. I assumed I could pay with my credit card but Frank no longer takes plastic but that was no problem for me. My check was gratefully accepted.
