Kevin gave me a window of time today between 1:30 - 2:00  He arrived at 2:00 with his son Kevin, and Renee.  I thought this was odd, so many guys to show up for my simple job.  Kevin made a joke of how they travel, and it actually was efficient since they had to be on different floors of the house, getting tools, etc.  
Learned my fan motor is just noisy,  nothing he could do.   He was quick with the fan diagnosis.  He gave recommendations of brands to consider replacing it with.
Had to trouble shoot the light switch problem.   Glad to find it was nothing major, and actually fixed another problem.  
They were competent, and appeared to know what they were doing.  They found the source of the problem, and changed the connection on the light switch to only operate the porch light. This is a tough one to explain.
This stopped the buzzing noise the porch light  has been making for years.  YAY!
Bottom Line they fixed what they came to fix, plus I got the bonus of having something else fixed for the price he quoted on the phone this morning.  Can't really complain about same day service.

After receiving several bids, as well has having three no shows and two electricians who came but never delivered a bid, we felt most comfortable going with Kevin Oest-The Fan Man. He had been recommended by a lighting store in town and his online reviews were great.  We too had a good experience with Kevin and his crew. They came in worked with us on specific placement of the lights then went to work. Total work of measuring, cutting, running the wires, repairing and retexturing the ceilings and finally installing the lights and a new ceiling fan, they were done. No call back was needed. Guys were friendly, kept things neat and cleaned up afterwards. No Complaints only smiles.

After reading other reviews, I called Kevin and left a message.  He called me back the next day, gave me an estimate over the phone and then worked me into his busy schedule.  He set the appointment for 10 am and I noticed a few of his workers in front of our place at 9:45, but they waited until exactly 10 to knock on our door.  Three workers started the project and then Kevin showed up a little while later to help finish the project.  I appreciated that they brought in blankets to put under themselves when removing and installing each fixture to keep things clean.  They then vacuumed under each replaced light fixture.  Everyone was nice and friendly - they even worked with my wife to let her pick the exact height of the 2 chandeliers.  I honestly can not say enough good things about this group.  In speaking with Kevin, I found out that they do much more than just lights and drywall.  They can actually do complete remodeling.  You might have to wait a little to get in their schedule, but the price and quality of work is well worth the wait.

What is there to say except it went very well as usual. Be sure and call him several weeks in advance as he and his crew are frequently very booked up.

I've used Kevin for over a decade - initially for interior fan installation, and most recently for my outdoor fans and fixtures.  Super friendly.  Knowledgeable,  Does the work right.  He's busy, so don't be in a hurry to schedule; but he shows up at the date and time arranged.  Has a good group of people who have been working with him for a while.

He did a good job. When I called him originally I had the install dates as 7/9/14, I called him to change the date because I had not gotten a part from Lowes. The only issue I had was he would not return my text or phone calls. He came in because he had a cancellation that Friday; he was scheduled for that Saturday.

I had 3 fans to install including 1 on a 20ft ceiling. I had to special order a longer downrod but they kept in touch on a regular basis while I was getting some of these parts. On install day, they showed up on time, did great work and good cleanup. I had a similar event through the home warranty when I first moved in on the other high fan I have. That 1 fan still cost me $300 because the home warranty ruled it "special access" and would only cover the minimum. The 3 fans were only $50 more.

Kevin was prompt and professional. He had to improvise one canape on a ceiling fan and painted the old canape to make it fit the new fan. He also gave me some ideas on recessed lighting for my living room. He removed the two old fans and took away all the packaging etc. He is very neat.

He was very detail oriented as the weather had made his ladder wet. Dried it up before placing on the living room rug. Installed all new hardware. No issues whatsoever, and quite frankly, I thought the 20 foot install was going to be problematic, but he handled it without an issue.

Kevin is very prompt with giving estimates. He is full of ideas, and even turned us on to LED tape lighting, which is an amazing technology. The crew showed up on time every morning, a little after 9:00, which is great when you've got kids to wrangle in the morning. Renè is a master at drywall patches and texturing. Jonathan is a polite young man, and a hard worker; he even retrieved a rat skeleton from the attic for us! (Although maybe that was a warning to future rats to stay away!) All the men have good senses of humor and good taste in music to boot!

It has improved it immensely. A lighting store recommended him. It was very expensive and I paid thousands. I don't know if what he charged was a proper charge because I haven't done it before. It may have been good or I may have been rooked. I found him to be very satisfactory. He cleaned up and came when he said he would. He was very good.

The Fan Man was very timely and reasonable. He stuck with his estimate and did the job well. I was impressed with his honestly and customer care. He did an excellent job and I will have more work for him in the future.

Fan Man gave us an estimate, which we agreed to and did the work on the spot. However, one light didn't work afterwards and it was difficult to get him to come back. I had to call a few times and he was slow in returning, although he did finally fix it.
