Eagle Appliance Repair

Our refrigerator went out over memorial day weekend, so we knew it would be difficult to get anyone to come out.  The company came on 6/1 to check the problem, which they diagnosed as a compressor issue, and said it would be about a week for them to get the parts and come back.  We did not hear from them for over a week and left messages and sent emails to check on the status.  We finally heard back the last week of June and they came to fix the compressor on 6/28.  It did not correct the problem.  The tech told us he needed to log into the internet to check the status of the part.  We offered the use of our wifi and he said he knew all the "good spots" for cell service and declined.  That should have been my clue there was something wrong.  He said it should take 2-4 days to get the other part in (he also told us that the first tech misdiagnosed the problem and should have ordered a different part to start).We have not heard from them since they were at our home on 6/28.  We repeatedly call the warranty company, who calls them (as they won't respond to us) and the feedback is that they have tried to contact us but can't reach us.  I can abide many things, but not a liar.  I completely understand that it can take time to order parts.  However, the lack of communication is unacceptable, as well as the dishonesty.  I've researched this company on other sites and my experience is not unique.  Do no use this company!!!
