Bobby re-positioned the gas connection behind our stove so that our new stove could sit close to the wall and flush with our countertop. 
Bobby called prior to coming to our house to confirm our appointment time.  He showed up on time, was friendly, efficient, and very reasonably priced.  He also took time to talk to me about our gas connection problem and discussed possible solutions.  
As mentioned in another review, he is a one man shop.  He doesn't advertise -- but then again he doesn't need to as recommendations between Georgetown locals keep this guy very busy.  We will definitely be hiring Bobby again for any future plumbing needs.

His name is Robert David and he goes by the name of Bobby. He is punctual, honest, and a hard worker. He does the job right. He knows his business. He bills fairly, and he is very pleasant to be with. It is a one-man shop. He said that he has had helpers in the past but sometimes they are more trouble than it is worth to try to explain to them on what he needs. So, he just works alone unless he has to. He is trustworthy and I wouldn't call anyone else. I got him as a reference from a friend who told me that he used him all the time. The friend is a local native and we are transplants, so we run around asking everybody on whom to call and who is a good person. This is the recommendation I got for plumbing, and it was right on.

Very personable guy, but took forever. He billed me for 7 hrs for a simple water conditioner install to an existing loop. Admittedly, it also included a carbon pre-filter, but the installation is identical to a regular water softner but without the drain (so it should be easier!). This time included an initial hour visit to "ponder" the problem during which he acted like he'd never seem one of these before. I should have cut my loses there and then, but figured he wouldn't charge for that visit because he didn't have the parts with him to even start the job - but he did. He also billed another 2hrs to install 2 stops (onto existing copper pipe) and extend a 1/2" gas pipe by 4ft in an outdoor grill that is being build, which seemed excessive to me. Anyway, the water conditioner install leaked so he had to return to fix it, though to be fair, that happens and he didn't charge for it. However, although he did show up when he said he would, the initial work was rescheduled 3 times (now I know why - he's slow as molasses). Overall, I felt he 'milked' the job for the maximum number of hours. This should have been no more than a 3 hour job by an experienced plumber - tops.
