Things went fine - but they were unable to find the source of the fault.  We swapped out a circuit breaker of like-type, and now I have to wait to see what happens.

I was sure the company I would call would take advantage of a single senior woman, calling just before a holiday. Not so. He came out the next morning, determined problem and fixed it all within thirty minutes. I was delighted and relieved at their honesty as I live on a very lean income. I will continue to use them and recommend them to everyone.

They called back twice to make sure everything was working fine. They called to make sure the house was warm enough and to make sure we were comfortable. They did really good work. They were very meticulous. Some of the wiring in the wall was completely short and they were very safety conscious about getting it out of there.  Two guys did the work and two watched. They were out here for about 8 days. I like these guys. I am using them again.

The work went very well. They had good reports on Angie's List and were very responsive when I called for a quote. He actually came out the very same day that I initially called him. He is really nice and does a good, honest job.

Jim and his crew did an OUTSTANDING Job. Their punctuality was commendable, and their professionalism on the job was great. Jim they removed the existing 4 LED ceiling light fixtures and replaced them with 4 new LED modular units, and 4 new units. They swapped out0removed several electrical outlets, and installed 3 under-the-cabinet lights. Jim and his crew did a fantastic job, I would call Cox Electric again, and recommend them to everyone.

I called Cox Electric based on Angie's list good reviews. James Cox himself answered the phone and I explained that we had recently moved to a house where the dryer's electrical outlet was the older 3-wire version but our dryer's plug was 4-wire and did not fit. He explained that he would probably need to run a wire from the receptacle to the fuse-panel box which could cost up to $750 depending the distance. He said he could come first thing in the morning the next day, which was Saturday. All the other electricians I called could not come until the following week. James was very punctual and when he opened the receptacle found out that there was extra connection in the wall already so he did not need to run the extra wire to the panel which saved me a lot of money. He only replaced the dryer outlet.
I appreciated his promptness in coming to my house and honesty by not trying to charge me for something that was not needed.

Cox Electric did a great job. The estimate was affordable. They were able to come do the job within a couple of days of my call. The electrician arrived on time and was respectful and careful of our property. He did the job in a couple of hours and we were entirely satisfied. They honored the original estimate. We would use them again and certainly would recommend them to other customers.

James was great. The cost for the work was very fair. He arrived on time and completed the work quickly. James also cleaned up after he completed the work, and left the work area the way he found it. Everything is working great, and looks very good.
We have used Cox Electric once before in an emergency when we were selling our previous house last year, and he fit us in the same day and still charged a fair price and did a great job then as well. We would highly recommend Cox Electric.

I called and scheduled an appointment for Saturday at 11:00. James (the owner) called that day sometime after 9:00 to check if it was okay to come out earlier, which I told him it was. He arrived shortly thereafter with another worker (to whom I was introduced but whose name I've forgotten, because I'm horrible with names; based on the invoice, I think it was Doug). They didn't have the exact breaker that they needed, so they had to leave to get one. After returning, Doug(?) completed the work in about an hour. They were courteous and professional, and they did a fine job.

I used the Angie's List email which didn't reach Mr. Cox, so called him after waiting 2 weeks for a response. He made an
appointment immediately, and was here on time with an employee.They were both very professional and helpful. Mr. Cox was kind enough to give us advice on future work, which we will certainly ask him to do.
The only probem we experienced was that Doug had to remove the shade on one of the fans and broke it. We are in the
process of obtaining a replacement.

James arrived on time, looked over the project and then got to work. Went well. He was finished before I knew it.

I called Cox and set up an appointment. James was professional and prompt. He quickly assessed the problem and had me up and running in no time. We discussed some other concerns I would potentially like to address and he spent the time with me to go over my options. Cox electric gets a big thumbs up from me and I will call them again for any work in the future.

They were very prompt and did an excellent job.
