Our Moen faucet failed again, the fourth time in 9 years. Though Moen will replace parts for free, leaking that many times makes their products suspect. We decided to use Brittain Plumbing who is reliable, honest, and has quality products. We elected to have a Kohler goose neck faucet installed. The plumber was on time, installed the faucet in less than one hour, cleaned the area when finished, and was courteous and professional.

The cartridge on the Moen kitchen faucet failed (2nd Moen faucet, 3rd cartridge in less than 10 years - I'm over Moen) and flooded the kitchen. I took a day to go to big box stores, kitchen show rooms, and search online for prices and reviews. I went to Brittain's office and settled on a Delta 9192 stainless steel pull-down faucet with Brittain installing it. He arrived within the time and took less than one hour to install. He was courteous and took care to clean up after installing the faucet. Though I could have bought the faucet for less, I would have waited another week or more which was not good because no one stocked this item. A kitchen without a faucet is not practical. Brittain obtained the faucet within 2 days and had it installed. I am very satisfied with Brittain and recommend them.

In addition to having a new kitchen faucet installed, I thought the shower needed a new cartridge, but it was determined all was well. The plumber could have sold me on the idea it needed to be replaced, and it would have cost a lot more money. A bathroom sink was draining slowly, and he fixed that, and the total wound up being their minimum charge.

cleaned out main drain from house, due to commode backed up, arrived on
time, did the job and didn't leave a mess, very neat and efficient.

water wasn't coming out of the out back faucet ,  there is a splitter on the faucet , it had somehow gotten turned off, all he did was turn it back on , took less than five minutes, five more minutes to write up the ticket , charged me 112.00 ! . that was with a 10% discount !  I am a women and a senior citizen , my mistake and ignorance ! however , they lost a future customer and I will be sure to tell my neighbors not to call this company !!!

The toilet had to be ordered and shipped to Georgetown. The plumber showed up on time, removed the broken toilet and advised us the PVC collar that goes into the slab was cracked.  We authorized a repair, which he did, and proceeded to install the new toilet.  After he left, we noticed the toilet rocked when sat upon.  We called their office and they sent the plumber back immediately.  He solved the problem (shim) and all is well.

Bad experience.  Had to come out 3 separate times because they ordered the wrong parts; then they tried to charge me for all 3 trips even though one of the trips was due to their mistake.

Serviceman arrived on time and did the job well.  We supplied the parts and the plumber did the labor.

One Toilet became unstable less than 6 months later. A different plumber from another company reset the toilet that was installed improperly. At the time that Brittain Plumbing installed the toilet, we complained that it didn't look even and were told that the problem was that the floor was not even. That was not true.
We would not ever use Brittain Plumbing again because although they appear to be very professional and competent, cutting corners in that way is not acceptable.
The price would have been fine but not if the work is not done properly.

Said they would arrive between 2 and 4 pm, and I got a knock on the door just before two. In the estimate, I was told that it would take about 2 1/2 hours to complete, maybe three. The guys got the thing into the closet in the garage and up and running in 2 hours and 15 minutes! It was close quarters, but they did a remarkable job. Very polite and professional. I stayed with them the entire time, and I was very impressed by their skill and work ethic. I have used Brittain before for other plumbing needs. I have never been disappointed! Home Depot contractor wanted about $600 more to do less. Brittain included an automatic water shutoff valve in their cost that will keep me from ever worrying about water heater water leakage again. Great job.

Punctual: showed up when promised and worked very efficiently. Extremely professional in approach and in dealing with the customer. Made sure that all codes were met and work was neat and clean. Previous installation was not up to current code so the installation involved the installation of a drain pan which was not in the initial estimate, but final price was still slightly below the estimate.

We were leaving town for a week the next morning and had a plugged up, broken disposal. We couldn't leave the mess in the sink for that long, so we called Brittain. They sent someone right away and he cleared the drain. He didn't have a disposal to install with him, so he told us to call when we got home. He also told us to wait until then to pay for the service call. After we returned, we realized we had a home warranty plan that would pay for the disposal, so we did not use Brittain for that. However, because of how they handled our emergency call, we would use them next time and would recommend them to others.

We chose Brittain Plumbing over other plumbers we had used in the past based on neighborhood recommendations and Angie's List ratings.

The front office said they would be here between 1 and 2:30 PM. The plumber arrived at 3 PM. Aside from that, the work went very well. The plumber was courteous, knew what he was doing, and was careful in cleaning up after his work.

He told us to call Moen on the bathroom sink part which he thought was under warranty. He was correct. Moen is sending us a new part at no charge. The plumber also told us how to install it if we wanted to do that.

The toilet did not need a new seal. The caulking discoloration at the base was caused by condensation and could be corrected by new caulking.

We appreciated the plumber's honesty. He completed the work within 1 hour and saved us a lot of money over what other plumbers were charging.

We will definitely use Brittain for our plumbing work in the future.

Steve was timely and professional. We were very pleased with him and We will be bringing him back to install two flood stoppers on the our water heaters.

I have used them several times in the past 4 years. The pricing was very good. They were very quick in coming, and they showed up on time. The quality of work was good.
