furniture sales
 + -1 moreThey sold my furniture & did not pay me nor respond to multiple efforts to reach them. They also did not respond to my BBB complaint.
Description of Work: (The actual company name is AUSTIN FURNITURE CONSIGNMENT but the review would not take that name. )I paid someone to deliver my used furniture to the furniture consignment center & the consignment store pretty much stopped any contact with me after that. After repeated phone calls, I spoke with the owner (Dan) on 7/23/2012 & was told that they had sold my desk & bookshelf for a total of $170 & that they would be sending me a check in that amount (I now live in another state which is why I was selling my furniture). They never sent me a check. I called repeatedly & finally made a complaint thru the Better Business Bureau to which they also DID NOT RESPOND. I am sure that they know I have no recourse since I no longer live in Austin & just decided to keep the money they owed me (which is actually STEALING). I WOULD NEVER WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE AS THEY BEHAVE LIKE CRIMINALS.
