Jared Yandell and his crew at Atx Fence & Deck did a fantastic job! Jared was competitive in pricing and we can verify this as we had numerous estimates. He was extremely patient with us as we asked many questions being 1st time fence buyers. Jared was punctual, professional and he and his crew arrived exactly on time. They worked all through the day and finished the project in one day just as they said they would. This company does high quality work with high quality materials. Jared and his crew are highly skilled with years of experience and perfectionists! The fence they built is beautiful and will withstand the test of time (dogs and children). We would use them again with no hesitation!

Old fence posts were unusually installed in a retaining wall and difficult to deal with. ATX was more detailed in inspecting the old fence than other companies I got estimates from before creating their estimate. Estimate/price was fair. Work/craftsmanship/materials were excellent. Owner and crew were pleasant to deal with. You must be patient with communications as owner handles office and construction.

Jared was great to work with.  Easy to get a hold of and very responsive to my questions.  His crew showed up and took care of the whole project in one day.   It was perfect.  Old fence was gone and a nice new fence installed in less than 8 hours.  They were able to work around a few issues as well - sprinkle system, stone garden bed, and lots of limestone in the ground.  They took care of it all and it turned out great.  If you need a good team to do some custom work around your yard, ATX will get it done.

The team worked diligently and the complete product was desirable. They were even willing to make a couple last minute additions after the bulk of the work was done. Polite and focused workers.

I had three bids on the job. One was higher and one was lower. Jared and his partner took a lot of time looking at the project and offering ideas. The other two companies didn't seem to care that much and asked few questions--just measured and left. We agreed to a plan and Jared and Stephan set to work. Along the way they figured out a way to re-engineer the railing we discussed and came up with a superior design. Deck looks awesome.
The thing I like most about these guys is that they're creative problem solvers. They really seemed to care about reaching the best solution to any problem.
Another plus, and this is a big one in my book--Jared not only bid the job, but he completed the job himself (with a partner). It was refreshing to deal directly with the owner of the company and not a crew of guys that speak limited English.

Everything about the work Jared and his partner did was fantastic. They were responsive, came to estimate the work when they said they would, and performed the work on schedule and with quality. The whole interaction was easy and painless and their pricing, extremely competitve. We now have a brand new solid and beautiful staircase. The skirt of the deck is all new too and there's no chance animals will creep under it and finally our fence looks good. You can be sure I'll call them again.

Jared performed a really good job on the gate. He had sent me the design via email and finished product looked exactly like the design he sent me. Both I and renter were very happy with the gate. It looks really good. He was also able to fix some of my rotted fence as well.

Jared does the estimates and the work himself; for the work he does use a couple of helpers.  As he does the work and the estimates, it took him a bit longer to get back with the estimate, but it was a good estimate - not the highest nor the lowest, but what we thought was a fair price.  We had steel posts in already, but several had either been put in crooked or shifted over the years.  Jared straightened these along with installing the fence.  He was on the job when he said he would be and finished when promised.  The fence is better quality than what we had installed many years ago and much more solid.  We were very happy with his work.  He is involved with all the work and has high standards for quality.  Thank you Jared.  -Ray

Jared (owner) and his guy did an amazing job.  The fence looks awesome.  They arrived by lunchtime and were finished by about 5 with no issues.  Jared provided his expertise on a few things including the gate placement and how to anchor the fence to our home to ensure stability.  He was able to provide me a quote without even coming to the house (we were still living in NY when I contacted him).  Via my measurements and some pictures he gave me the quote and stuck to it after seeing the project in person.  
He is a small business so sometimes response times aren't super quick, but he always responds.  I see a lot of reviews on AL that hammer providers because they didn't get a response in 2 minutes which is both unfair and unrealistic for most small businesses where the owner also does the work.  
Highly recommend ATX Fences and Decks and we are going to use them again for a second fence on the other side of the house.

When I decided to expand the scope of the work they stayed and completed the job as they needed to get additional supplies.

The service and workers were nice and did a good job overall. They did run over schedule by several days but did not try to charge me extra. Everything went well for the price but I did have to go over several points of the agreement we made at the beginning of the project at its conclusion. When I asked them to take care of those items they went straight to work and resolved my issues

We had to work with the weather - as it was drizzling on one day so it had to be put off till the next work day.  Unfortunately, they don't work on Saturdays.
They came by the following Monday morning and there was a very slight drizzle but it stopped so they proceeded to begin. 
There were three workers who worked on it all day.  They cleaned up everything nicely before they left for the day.
All in all - great job.   He's a little hard to get ahold of at times - but once you get him - it's worth it.  It was obvious he knew what he was talking about when he originally explained everything to me as well.  Overall - I just had a good rapport with him, and he ended up being slightly cheaper than the others I had talked too.  He was very down to earth.   I would highly recommend them.

Excellent - they showed up on time, finished the job in within their commitment and cleaned up.  They were very professional and the new fence looks beautiful.
