3rd Day Tree Service, LLC

Hired Taylor and his company to remove a Chinaberry Tree on the property line between myself and a neighbor. I can't express myself enough on how happy I am with the experience of working with him and his crew. The company is firefighter owned and operated. Found the company through Angie's List. They have nothing but positive reviews on both Angie's List and his Facebook page. He is also fully insured for damages. I did make inquiries from a few other services for estimates to remove the tree but his price beat everybody. The tree had multiple trunks coming up and was very tall. Taylor used his amazing skills to climb almost every tree trunk to top out that section then slowly remove each tree trunk as he worked his way down. He used a climbing rig to work his way up and secure himself while working then used a rope to secure most limbs to keep them from hitting the house or ground. His two-person crew on the ground used a rope to control the direction of the Fall safely so not to damage anything. My job for the last 20 years has allowed me to associate with the City of Austin firefighters repairing servicing and maintaining their fire trucks. You couldn't ask for a better group of Men & Women and I knew that hiring a company run by firefighters would be a positive experience. Part of their job is working with the public keeping a positive attitude and working as a team. They had the tree knocked down in 3 to 4 hours and did a great job of cleaning up all the debris to be hauled off. Definitely would recommend 3rd Day Tree Service if you need any kind of tree removal. As I have previously stated I am more than pleased with their services. They were professional courteous and efficient. I have already scheduled some more work.

The guys did an excellent job! They arrived on time, very professional, worked hard and accurate with the things that needed to be done. Some of the trees were in close proximity to houses and had to be taken down in small pieces and very carefully. They did what they promised to do and made sure we were happy with what we wanted done.

You get more bang for your buck with these guys! They were on time, worked hard, and did a great job. I’ve already asked for an estimate to cut down 3 other trees I need to get rid of.

Despite Texas summer heat and trees that were WAY overdue for a trim, Taylor made our yards look incredible. We had a tree unexpectedly break almost in half, and he came over days before the scheduled trim date to clean up the fallen limbs for us. Reasonable pricing (which is HARD to find) and hard work, done quickly. Nothing more you could want!

Amazing! Taylor did a full removal of a large Catalpa tree in our front yard that was very close to our house. He expertly removed the tree in a timely manner without damaging any of our property. His knowledge was very apparent in all the information he shared with me about my tree and the removal process.
