 + -1 moreBrian was very professional, friendly, on time, and very efficient. He took his time and explained everything to me. His report was thorough and detailed. He reviewed the pictures before he left, and sent me the complete detailed report a few hours after leaving the residence. He included photos and thermal images. As a fellow veteran, his attention to detail was very impressive. I would definitely recommend his services.

 + -1 moreI purchased a new construction home that was already built before I made an offer. I wanted to be sure everything was correct and as it should be since I did not get to see it be built nor do I have any experience in construction. I hired Texstar Home Inspections to do a home inspection. They were able to get me scheduled pretty quickly considering the very last minute notice. I was not able to be at the house during the inspection due to my work schedule but received a very nice full color inspection report via email that also included photos. I'm very satisfied with Texstar Home Inspections, there were things on the report I would have never noticed during the walk through with the builder. I'm glad that I had the report to accompany me during my walk through so I could have the builder correct the issues that were found.

 + -1 moreBrian was great. He was on time, did a thorough job, and kept me informed throughout the entire process. During the inspection he took the time to explain what he was on the lookout for, answered all of my questions, gave me advice on problems and maintenance, and kept it lighthearted. The report I received after the inspection was very detailed and informative. I had a few questions a couple of days later and Brian was quick to respond to my emails. I will definitely use Brian again for any home inspection needs.

 + -1 moreWe were all impressed by his professionalism, good humor, honesty, and the pride he takes in his work. We will recommend him to all of our friends and family who are in need of inspections. He is punctual, efficient, informative, answers all questions, and most of all takes his time to ensure you understand what the issues are and what needs to be addressed.
Description of Work: Brian is the owner of the company and the inspector. We corresponded via phone, e-mail, and text to sign contracts, set up the appointment, and adjust the time frame. He actually was able to perform our inspection earlier than scheduled and was very helpful in walking us through the inspection. He likes to have the client with him while he performs the inspection and we found this extremely informative. He would tell us what tubes/wires need to be present and how things were done correctly/incorrectly. His report was e-mailed the same day and included detailed descriptions with pictures of the deficiencies and images as to "how to" correct the issues. The inspection was extremely thorough and we feel confident in making our decision based on his findings. He was unbiased in his recommendations, but did provide references for the issues that he felt needed further investigation. He is certified to inspect pools and do a termite inspection, so we felt that we were getting the full package. Our realtor came for the last 20 minutes of the wrap up and he took the time to walk her back through the property and show her some of his concerns.
