The store was great. They had many samples to choose from and the crew was pretty good and the installation was beautiful. The only thing to mention is that they couldn t give me an exact estimate for the job. They did a bid and told me they only needed two silicon bottles but they ended up using seven $185.00 bottles of glue which I had to pay for because the contract specified that any extra expense was to be paid by us.

Richard was great--he came on a Friday evening before a holiday weekend. The carpet had been rolled up together with the pad, and was very large and heavy. He had to unroll it and repair the pad, then place it down separately. I had some heavy furniture to move, and he did that, charging 35.00 for 7 pieces. He moved them back into their exact locations. He does any kind of floor work, including tile. He's coming back to replace the laundry room linoleum, and give me a bid on retiling my shower. My parents were here, and they are hiring him to restretch a room of carpet in their home. We were all very impressed with this nice man. I found him on Angie's list!

I called six of the companies listed on Angie's List under "Carpet Sales/Installation/Repair," but no company would repair my carpet without me purchasing all new carpet for the room. Finally one of the companies suggested that I call Richard Steel who did a great job repairing the carpet without having to buy a whole new room of carpet. He has a minimum $50.00 charge, which is what he charged me to repair the carpet. He also repairs tile and wood floors, which I have never hired him to do. Overall, I am satisfied with his work.
