REO got the job because they were recommended (along with some other companies) by the engineer that specified the repair plan and they were very quick to respond. I sent out the request for quotes on Thursday and they were able to schedule the work for the following Monday. Some of the other companies that I requested quotes from were starting to return my calls and e-mails as REO was already beginning the work.
The work took two days and the supervisor spent a lot of time with me the first day explaining everything and listening to my concerns. The work was done well, they cleaned up and graded the dirt nicely and we are very happy. The job was approximately 1/2 the cost of other quotes we had received. They offer a lifetime transferable warranty on the work they did. Since we are selling the house, they will put the original warranty in the Buyer's name instead of transferring it to them.
We have been thinking about and getting quotes for foundation repair for some time and in the end it turned out to be quite painless. We are very happy with REO's work and really appreciate how quickly they responded.
