Those guys have been great from the beginning. I have been working with those guys for a number of years. They show up when they say they are going to show up. They understand if I need to cancel in the last minute. I have had to cancel with them in the last minute and they've always been understanding. All the guys who come out are professional, explain what they are doing, why it is necessary and what you are trying to prevent.  Everyone of those guys is topnotch.

They will give you a time frame of when they will be in and if for some reason they will be outside that window they will call you if they are going to be a little late and if that's not ok they will offer to reschedule. They are very courteous, professional and friendly.

The system shut down 7/4/13 and I notified Spring Valley around 5:30PM
when discovered. They were unable to locate any of their service people
but said they would be here at 8:00AM on 7/5/13. The service people
were here early and found/fixed problem quickly. Since I had not been alerted
to the possibility of this situation at time of installation, the work was done at no charge.

The installation went smoothly and was completed in less than one day as scheduled. By adding a 10-year service program, all future semi-annual service is included at no additional charge and they also included cleaning of all vents.

I have been very pleased with them. They call to come out when they're due to come out. I don't have to remind them. They'll move with me, so they don't have to service the same air conditioner. I think it's an excellent price, I just have to pay for replacement parts.

purchased 2 year servise ageement on air unit. first six month service they sent tech who did not check freeon level because he said he was not certified to do so. he said another tech would come and do thise. 3 weeks laqter I called about issue and another tech came. said entire unit needed replacement. He qouted price and gave to week lead time to install. next day unit stpped working and tech came back. said condenser fan failed and would come back next day with fan to keep unit running until install of new unit.
fan failed same nighht , another tech came and checkeed fan good said unit was unfixable, but there would be $875 00 for fan if we did not have them do new unit. I called other contractors at this time and relized there price for new unit was at least 40% higher than pleasent valley with next day install. and replacement of condencer fan no more than $110 .00 i called pleasent valley air with this info. got a lot of lip service but no action. I had new unit installed next day with no problem from another vendor 45% cheaper than pleasant valley, same guarantee

Oddly he pulled into the driveway instead of parking in front which was odd. He was very young and very inexperienced. He began to worry me as he filled out his invoice/report and was having trouble spelling and writing. It was basically unreadable with many spelling errors. He set the thermostat to 60 and went upstairs to inspect the upper unit. He removed the main panel on the box and ran some kind of wire reading device over a few cords. He flipped the breaker in the box and inspected some other things. He flipped the breaker back on the machine and then was confused when the machine did not come back on. He flipped the breaker a few more times, tried to unscrew a panel and examine it, and then decided it was a delay. He put it all back together, went downstairs and saw and quot;Waitand quot; on the thermostat and found out it was a delay. He then went back upstairs and started to mess with my air filter. I have a special permanent air filter on the machine. He called me up to ask me how to open it. I honestly barely can get it installed, and after watching him with the other part of the machine I just decided to tell him to leave it if he didnt know it and not mess with it.

He then went outside and opened up a panel on the outside AC. He started messing with the wires while the power was still on and shocked himself pretty good. Kinda paused for a minute or two to recover. He took some kind of reading for the and quot;fan motorand quot; and then sealed it up, putting a screw back in improperly.

He didn't check freon or open any other part of it up.

His final recommendations were a float valve (119 or so bucks) and Air Duct cleaning for 10 ducts (450 dollars). Ive seen groupons for air duct cleaning for 99 bucks so this sounds a little extravagant and he based the need off of one dirty intake vent which we have never really bothered cleaning. He didn't look inside the ducts at all.

I had a good vibe from the company until he arrived, and after working with him, I doubt I will be calling back again or letting them come out for my second free AC inspection later in the year.

THE TECHNICIAN INSPECTED OUR AIR/HEAT SYSTEM AND NOTICED A FEW THINGS MISSED BY THE BUILDER. AS STATED BEFORE, WE HAVE USED PLEASANT VALLEY FOR 3 YEARS AND HAVE BEEN SATISFIED WITH THEM COMPLETELY.

I've used Pleasant Valley Air for about four years. Because I have the service and maintenance contract with them repairs don't cost any extra. I like them because they are available at weekends for regular prices - they don't charge weekend rates. They also have service technicians available on most of the holidays, and there is no extra service fee. They're fast and on time. The knowledge of the service technicians I've seen over the last four years has been good and they know what they're doing.
