I needed to have a significant number of storm windows replaced following a recent hail storm, and in the process of reviewing this project, decided to have windows replaced with a french door. Larry was referred to me as a provider who was reasonable and also did very neat work. He and his wife came to our house on a Saturday to review the project and do an estimate. He was very knowledgeable about what it would take to replace the storm windows, did the rough measurements and provided the estimate quickly. He was the most reasonable estimate I received, but also the most professional to deal with, and I decided to hire him. He came out and did the exact measurements, gave me a bill for the work with a reasonable down, and told me how long it would be to have the windows ready to install. About when the windows were due, he called and set up installation. They were done very neatly--we are very picky and find nothing we have any concerns about in his order or his work. There was a considerable amount of work with the number of windows we ordered and the work was completed within three days. The work area was cleaned up each evening and completely at the end of the job. For a small extra fee he hauled off our old windows. I had also asked him to replace two older windows with french doors. He gave me a reasonable price on this work, and told me where I could find doors. The work was done in two days and when he left, we had functioning french doors. They are straight and very neat--extra effort was made to keep the woodwork looking like the woodwork in our 1919 home. Again, we find nothing about his work that we are dissatisfied with in any way. Larry was also able to refer us to other providers to handle other parts of our job, and did extra things like marking broken glass for our glass guys, and offering them the use of his scaffolding. We were so pleased with the work that was done, and Larry and his family were so pleasant to deal with. We wish everyone we dealt with showed this type of professionalism.
