Jeff arrived on time each day. He worked. He had a worker with him as well, named Richard. They completed the work only a few days past the deadline. There were many problems that I found after the fact. They did not remove the cabinets from their hinges prior to painting them. They did not sand them, or use any kind of presanding component that I could tell. They simply took a paintbrush to the cabinets. Three weeks later, after we started using those cabinets (he told us to let them dry), the paint immediately started coming off. It looks horrible. The paint throughout the house is shoddy. The paint near the baseboards looks like a three year old did it. It's not even. They painted over nails, screws, etc., and did not remove or patch them. Regarding the kitchen, the man they hired to lay the tile did a great job. But they had to pull out the dishwasher and stove to get that work done. After I moved in, the dishwasher didn't work. I called out a professional for $75 and he turned on the water to it. Same thing with the disposal. Not plugged in. I wasted a lot of money on that. I told him about it later but he did not offer an apology or try to pay me for it. Again with the dishwasher - It would not shut properly. I texted him and asked him to come out and fix it, that we couldn't use it. And he said NO. I paid him on time. I paid what he asked for. He was continually rude with me via texts. I have those texts if anyone wants to see them. Finally, there was so much dust and debris that I had to hire a professional cleaner to come out. $400 later it was better, but not great. I hired a house keeping service to come out once a week for three weeks to dust and clean and mop. It's finally a little more under control. I am very unhappy with the paint peeling off the cabinets. I am extremely unhappy when I see the terrible job they did painting. I would not hire him again and suggest you do not either. Beyond all of this, the final bill was $1400 more than I thought. He said he spend that on supplies. But I asked for those receipts twice and he did not give them to me. Then he was acting like I wasn't going to pay - perhaps an angry distraction I'm not sure. That was so wrong though. He was just rude and I did nothing to deserve it.
