Boats
No shortage of experience here, some 40 years in the sailboat business, a Catalina dealer as well. These are good people. Unless you manage a hedge fund, you look for some type of reasonable return for you maintenance dollar when fixing a boat. I explained my situation to Todd. the owner, and he was able to give me a quick assessment of what should be done vs. what could be done. His mom, Carol, who answers the phone and manages the office, has been very gracious and helpful in arranging my meeting with Todd, who is hitting his busy season full tilt. I have been around boats most of my life, and so many of the people in this business come with an eye patch and a peg leg. It is refreshing to find a marine sales and service company whose primary goal is keeping people going on the water and enjoying their time there. I don't have a lot of money to spend on my sailing enterprise, but what I do spend will be spent with these folks.
