The GWS employee was supposed to be at my house at 10:00am on friday. He showed up on thursday because the office made a mistake #1. Because I was at work, he left and came back on friday, 1.5 hours after my appointment time. When I opened the door, he simply muttered "plumber" under his breath, did not introduce himself, was not wearing anything or driving a vehicle that identified him as a GWS employee. When I showed him to the toilet and told him that the shut off valve on the water supply line was not shutting off, he told me that wasn't the problem, that it was the flapper in the toilet. Totally false because I tried to shut the water off behind the toilet and disconnect the supply line and water continued to stream out. I told him I didn't care about the flapper because I was replacing the toilet anyway, but I cannot shut the water off to the toilet due to the faulty water shut off valve on the supply line. I told him I already verified that this is covered by my home warranty, so he stepped outside to verify himself that this repair would be covered by my home warranty, then came back inside and told me it wasn't covered. So I had to pay him his $75 service call fee for nothing.
However, when I called my home warranty, they informed me that he had told them it was a flapper issue, which is not covered. So he lied to me about what the problem was (thankfully I knew better), then lied to my home warranty company, telling them it was something else that isn't covered, so that he could get paid and not do any work at all, even though my issue was covered under my warranty and he should have fixed it.
Try Jennings Plumbing instead: they fixed my problem, plus a couple of others and it was a totally different experience: friendly, professional, great work.
