The TakeAir technicians, Teddy and Ari, arrived at our home and began by going tnto the attic and inspecting our A/C system. They then opened the vents and pointed out what appeared to be mold. I was not concerned with testing this as our A/C installer had already told us we had mold in our dehumidifiers and he suspected in some of the vents. We knew the vents were dirty because we found debris on some of our furniture and rugs. We received an estimate to service our ducts and my husband and I talked it over. We decided to go ahead. The gentlemen were here 5 - 6 hours. Their equipment was impressive. The whirling brush was used in conjunction with a very large suction unit. Each and every vent was cleaned this way. Any visible mold was removed and the area treated. When the job was completed, and anti-mold solution was added to the system. We are to leave the units off until tomorrow afternoon. Teddy and Ari were very careful with our furnishings. They also did a great job cleaning up afterward.
