Our daughter had recommended Castillo Floor after they replaced all the flooring in their house in Frisco. She said they did a great job and were in and out of her house in 2 days. Castillo Floor is a father and son operation. Rodrigo (the son) showed up right on time with a 4 person crew and we could not be happier with the job they did on our flooring. Our job was more time consuming than our daughter's, as it required demolition of existing field stone tile and extensive concrete repair and leveling, but they completed is as rapidly as could reasonably be expected. More importantly, the quality of the work was impeccable. We have 3 very active Labrador Retrievers, so wood flooring was not an option. Rodrigo helped us select a wood grain ceramic tile which is virtually indistinguishable from wood. The quality of the work was exceptional and he displayed a lot of patience with often indecisive homeowners. They took great pains to make the grout be as thin and unnoticeable as possible. After the job was completed, he reviewed the work with us and satisfied all the minor issues my very picky wife pointed out. He definitely has an attitude of "the customer is always right". Although the floor looked absolutely beautiful when they finished, we noticed that the sealer they applied left marks when the dogs ran across the floor. Although it would easily clean up, it was a continual maintenance issue. Castillo made a no-charge trip back to acid strip the sealer and reapply a different sealer, all at his suggestion. We've had some bad experiences with contractors and dealing with Castillo Floor was a breath of fresh air. Both father and son are very nice people and we highly recommend them.
