The customer service from both Carl and Dallas was excellent. Dallas was efficient and did a great job installing the windows.

I did not compare the price with others, as the other two companies did not call me back. Dallas came and measured the glass, and about a week later he and Carl came to install it. The entire process was less than an hour and the window still looks great after several weeks. I will hire them again when I'm ready to replace more windows!

Price is the best. Experienced and they did a good job. It just takes a while for them to get around to it. It is because of all the jobs that he had. The guy does a good quality work. He was on time.

Carl’s Pane in the Glass’ portion of the remodel took the least time. Once the tiling was finished on the master bath shower, Carl came and measured for the frameless glass door. Carl installed the door shortly after receiving it, and time from order to delivery was pretty short. The door was pre-fit to the opening to mark the locations of the hinge brackets. Installation consisted of drilling holes in the tiles for the hinge brackets, attaching the hinge brackets to the door, and attaching the brackets to the wall. There was very little cleanup required, but Carl did a thorough job of cleaning the door and reminded me to squeegee it after every use to prevent mineral buildup.
When work first started on the bathrooms, Carl answered a lot of questions for me with regard to coatings that could be applied to the door to help prevent mineral buildup, how long they last, and cost. One coating had to be applied by the manufacturer; the others could be applied by me after installation. The manufacturer’s coating was kind of pricey and only last ten years. He really aided my decision on coatings. Absolutely love that frameless glass door!

Carl took the measurements for the window and ordered it, and a couple of weeks later came to install it. Carl worked from a ladder approximately 15 feet up to remove the old window and install the new; that was pretty impressive. He attached the window frame to the wood frame of the house with screws then inserted the windows. Finally he caulked around the window frame on both the inside and the outside, cleaned the window panes, and cleaned up the site.
The window opening inside the house isn't rectangular (wider at top than at bottom), which makes the window look crooked. Carl has made a couple of suggestions related to how to correct or to compensate for that, but I haven't decided what to do yet. His suggestions were very welcome.
I have several other window projects I want to do, and Carl has answered numerous questions with regard to them. Carl had done two other window projects for me previously, and I really like his work. He also has a good sense of humor, which I appreciate. It's good to work with someone who does quality work.

Everything went great. I got a free quote. Carl ordered the window and it was installed a week later. The installation took less than 10 minutes. Window is an exact match for what we had before. Great service at a competitive price!

Carl and his crew did an excellent job of caulking around the inside and outside of the windows; I had very little touch up painting to do inside. Tarps were put down to protect my wood floors. Breakable items were moved from the vicinity of the windows. Carl's crew did an excellent job of cleaning up, including cleaning the windows. Six of the windows are at the roofline of a vaulted ceiling that had to be accessed via a 20 ft. ladder on the inside. They took care of moving all furniture and were extremely careful in the placement of the ladder.
Carl has a good sense of humor, which I appreciated. I have more windows to be replaced, as I replaced only those which receive the most sunlight at this time, and I look forward to working with Carl again.
The windows themselves are most excellent. They all fit beautifully and look like original installation windows. During the terrible heat of the summer of 2011, I would put my hand within an inch of the west facing windows, and I could not feel the heat.

Everything concerning this job went very smoothly. Carl came out and measured the shower area were the sliding door would go.He then gave me a quote for the door and the shower guard coating that I requested. His quote was very fair and reasonable.About 10 days later he called to schedule an install time. A few days later - a fantastic looking sliding shower door was installed. All went very smoothly. I will use Carl again on the other side of the duplex - later this year.

Carl contacted me promptly and sent his assistant to measure the windows the next day. Because the screens were custom made, it took about 3 weeks to complete. Carl and his assistant came back to the house today and installed the solar screens and replacement window glass. The solar screens are exactly what I wanted and match the color and style of the ones in the front (bronze screens with a wider, sturdier frame). We can already feel a difference from the heat coming through the windows since the screens were installed this afternoon. Well worth the expense and give the house a finished look.
Response from Carl's Pane In The Glass
"GREAT CUSTOMER. EASY TO WORK WITH & VERY UNDERSTANDING ON THE TIMING OF THE SOLAR SCREENS. HOUSE LOOKS GREAT. SUPER CLEAN LOOKING. A + TO HAVE AS A CUSTOMER."

Carl was recommended to me by a general contractor. I called, he came over within 2 days and gave me an estimate. I called him to get the work started, we set a work date of January 19, 2012. He was here on time, they were tidy, efficient and obviously knew exactly what they were doing. The work was completed very timely and they left no outside or inside and quot;messand quot; whatsoever. I would truly recommend Carl and his company for any glass work, or window work for that matter.

They took out the windows and did it. There was another company who did the wood work of the windows and Carl's Pane in the Glass installed the glass in the frames. The owner and the worker came out and did the work and they were here both days. They did the window work themselves. They were sub contracted to me. I went out to see what they were doing as it interested me. They put the windows in. He knows his business and he was explaining all kinds of things to me about the windows and answering questions. They were very careful. My house is got a vaulted ceiling and I have picture windows which mean they are fixed and very high. When they were working up high they were very careful. I have beautiful wooden flooring so they put pads down. I have a front ledge where I have things put up and though they were using a 20 foot ladder there was no problem. He took down a couple of items from the ledge to prevent it from breaking. He had a good sense of humor too. I wouldn't want to comment on the price because I got him through a sub-contract. He normally has a pay half the price but I didn't do that because it was sub contracted. I checked with another company and I think it was just a little cheaper and it didn't look as nice. They were here when they said they would be. I would be using them again as I have more windows to be replaced. I replaced all the windows on the west and the south part of the house where all the heat and sun come in and I would do the rest later.

Carl did a great job at a reasonable price. We have had shower doors replaced before and Carl's value for the money beat the last people without question. Carl was also able to put in a shower door that was wider than we thought possible. It works great and looks much better than what we had before.
Response from Carl's Pane In The Glass
"GREAT CUSTOMER I HOPE TO FIND MORE LIKE HER. MORE THAN A JUST CUSTOMER TO ME."
