This is a mom and pop store in Garland, Texas. They are friendly. The repairman is the owner's father. He did a great job and turned it around in a reasonable time and gave me some good advice for keeping the machine in good working order. I believe the $75 repair fee was very fair.

I was in the midst of completing a quilt project for a school auction and I had a looming deadline when my circa 1986 workhorse, never been serviced Bernette machine started acting weird; it would sew, but dropped every 12th-14th stitch. No amount of fiddling would get it to act right. I walked in to Mr Bell's store and he stopped everything, sat down and essentially took apart my machine, with me watching. Eventually, in less than an hour, he had diagnosed the problem (parts had become misaligned deep in the inner workings of it) and fixed. Hooray!
