I contacted ATF roofing and construction for estimate and the process was very much accommodating. Joshua and Fred came by around 6-630pm for initial check up, then scheduled for roofing inspection and paint job estimate. I was told not required to be home for roofing inspection but recommended to meet with the painter for their estimate. Then scheduled to sign the contract. All were done after hours to accommodate my schedule.
Contract was negotiated with shingle replacement and paint job as a package to save my cost. I was told that I can pick any types of shingle from a manufacture website that ATF roofing is the direct contractor with them. So with no additional cost, I picked the 30 years Architectural shingles. The painting estimate was done with a thorough walk-through. I pointed out how I'd like it to be done, preparation, calking, trim replacement, and including the chimney area on top of the roof. All was written done in black and white.
I put down deposit to get thing going but the weather wasn't cooperating. The shingle replacement was put off for about 2 weeks until the opportunity came up. They had it all done in one and half day. The only problem was they left the dumpster on my drive way for a few more days since their tow truck was broken. A bit of inconvenience but not a big deal. The rain came down quiet hard 2 days after, was worry for a bit but it turned out ok.
The paint job was not done for another month due to the weather. I was concern about ATF roofing not coming back for the paint job since most of cost were on the roofing which I already paid at that point, and i won't be able to get my paint job done with the same cost with another contractor since my contract with ATF was suppose to be a package deal. After the weather cleared, Fred told me they had a date set for the painting and had them all done in two days. They seem to do everything per estimate, and addressed my concern quickly while the painter were there.
Overall, I am happy with the job and am highly recommend them to anyone.
ATF replaced my 20 year roof with a new 30 year roof for the check from my insurance company. Ethan and Josh with AFT were both so helpful and courteous. They saved me a lot of money and made sure the roof was completed quickly and installed properly. i am very pleased with the new roof. I would highly recommend AFT for any roofing work. AFT handled everything very professional.
