We agreed on the price and a one-week turn time. Jocko also gave me a quick tour of the shop and showed some of the other jobs he was working on at the time.
That night, less than 7 hours after I had dropped off my part, Jocko called to tell me he had finished my job early just in case I wanted to use it over the weekend on a gig.
I picked up the part the next day and it looked great. All the masking was done as indicated and he had covered it with a plastic sheeting to help protect it on the ride home.
If you choose to work with Ace Powder Coat, which I definitely recommend, make sure you call in advance before heading to the shop as their hours may fluctuate slightly depending on the work they have scheduled. This was never a problem for me, but only because I had called ahead and thus had this explained to me after meeting with them.
