We had saved up several other jobs around the house that also needed to be done, so we combined those with the main repairs and Danie handled the whole process and he expertly managed the sequence of multiple tasks which took over a month to complete. Parts of the house not being worked on were protected, for example heavy duty paper was laid down on the stairs to minimize scuffing, plastic sheeting covered furniture, etc.
Materials were chosen to match or exceed the quality of those being replaced, and inferior ones rejected. In one example, the hardwood boards received from the yard were not what Danie ordered. Instead of taking the easy way out and using them anyway, he rejected the lot and had the correct wood delivered even though it caused a setback in the schedule of a few days.
Danie was on the job site every day and directly supervised his sub-contractors. He kept us informed every day of what had been completed and what was scheduled for the next day - we were very happy with his excellent communication.
The end result is fantastic, and we would definitely use ZCD again in the future.
