I hired Kevin and his team to put in floors in my primary room and bath, as well as to tile the shower and bathtub area. They started the work, were almost done, but never came back to complete the job. We paid all but a few hundred dollars with the agreement we will pay the remaining balance upon completion. They never returned and we had to pay another contactor 4x the amount to complete the work Kevin and his guys left behind. The balance was around $200 but there was more than that in work that needed to be completed. We should have withheld more until completion of the work... But that is on us. We paid the other contractor around $800 to finish. Things started badly with Kevin quoting me one price to do the work and the going up on the price by nearly 2k because the tile was bigger than expected. Even the responsiveness and professionalism during the job was poor. His guys started on a Wednesday or Thursday and they said they could work on the weekend to get done with the project. Saturday came around and his guys never showed and no show on Sunday. We called Kevin looking for his guys and he kept giving us a time when they would arrive, but again, they did not show up for two days. If they did work on the weekend, they could have just said that instead of giving us false promises. It even got to a point that weekend where Kevin did not even know where his guys were and had to call his workers sister to try to locate him. Please save yourself the headache and go with a more experienced, reliable, and professional company.
