Our first hint that things were not right should have been when the foundation was not poured according to the architect/engineers plans. It needed to be re-poured in sections and still no plumbing or electrical was in-place. From there on things were done in a haphazard manner not following plans, not building to code or to widely acceptable building standards from installation of siding, installation of windows and doors, installation of required bracing, anchors, strong walls and portals so necessary in a hurricane prone site. We have invested over $400,000 and can't even pass a structural inspection. The building of our dream home has become a "nightmare"
