This pool service preys on the uninformed. Luckily I'm smarter than I look. After being told that he couldn't fix the problem and that he "would never sell" a Hayward brand pump, he offered to come over and install a new pump for $600. He said that he was deeply discounting the cost of the pump and I would not be able to get such a good deal elsewhere. I still have the receipt for the Hayward pump he sold me three years ago. He couldn't repair the equipment that he installs. Chuck thinks that he can fool his patrons when he really needs a reality check and a criminal investigation for attempted fraud. Never again will I tolerate a service technician try to pressure me into buying into his story. Since I am an Angie's List subscriber, I went looking for another opinion and found an honest and professional service who was able and willing to do good work for a fair price.
Description of Work: Could not repair a pool pump that he had sold me three years ago. Then tells me that he will "do me a favor" by selling me another pump for $600.
