DESIGNS BY DIMENSION

I can't say enough good things about working with Nancy McCall at Designs By Dimension in Galveston. This was the best choice I made when doing a total kitchen renovation on my Clear Lake home. I originally spoke with two other Houston kitchen designers who were trying to "tell me" what I wanted and I didn't feel very comfortable with either of them, I then priced a couple of options I liked at a local big box home improvement store that was having what looked like a great sale on Kraftmaid cabinets. I then went down to Galveston to Designs by Dimension and met Nancy. Her price on the exact same cabinets and plan was within a couple hundred dollars of the great "ending soon" sale that one big box home improvement store was pressuring me to close on. I felt much more comfortable slowing down and working with a small firm and in the end I am quite sure that even if the price was slightly more (and I'm not sure it really was in the end), it was earned and well, well worth it in headaches and hassles to me. Nancy guided me through an array of options and had hints I hadn't even thought of. She was also very concerned with helping me stay within my budget. She even gave me advice on other kitchen products she doesn't sell! She was never pushy and I never ever felt pressured to do or select anything. She promptly answered all my questions, e-mails and phone calls with great patience. Once I finally made up my mind what I wanted, I ordered the cabinets and used her installers. I found out that installing kitchen cabinets is far more complicated than just hanging them on the walls! As with every renovation and install, a few problems came up and Nancy took care of them with ease. I feel I would have never gotten her level of service and care with any big home improvement box store order on these cabinets. They just wouldn't have cared like she did. She is a true professional who knows her product and makes sure the job is done right. I'm loving my beautiful new kitchen!
