+ -1 moreWe bought the house in December. The installation of the blinds and shutters was done in three stages, on 24 January, 26 February, and 23 March. For each such visit, we had to make numerous telephone calls inquiring when the materials would be ready and when installation could be done. A payment was demanded prior to each visit, some $800 or $900 each time. For the last visit, the payment was taken by charging my credit card TWO DAYS BEFORE the work was completed. We found this behavior to be unethical, and the general tenor of their communications to be unnecessarily aggressive. Moreover, while their installation work seemed to be competent, their materials seem flimsy and not worthy of their high-flown promises of top quality.
Description of Work: We contacted them in November of 2017. On the 29th of November we signed a contract specifying certain blinds and shutters for the house we were purchasing in Texas City. The price was $5054. We were asked to pay $2500 down, and proffered a credit card payment accordingly.
