Do not hire he sounds professional and nice initially but learn from our mistakes.

We had a signed contract in July of 2024. As of today we still have a project that is not complete. We had our house in shambles for months. He leaves his subs to do the work and never checks on them. As a previous carpenter i knew what to look for and what questions to ask. As i did not have the time to do the job myself. He knew all the right answers and was very knowledgeable of what i wanted to do. He was given his initial draw without problem. But, there many weeks where we had no crew and no materials. If was not on him day after day not a thing would get done. He has given many promises and many excuses. He seems to use the same lines on every customer! I have had to spend over 10k just to make my house livable. He does not provide a safe job site. A family member fell and lacerated her chin and was stuck in bed for a week! After the job was shut down by the city for no permit(which was in our contract for him to get) i had to pull my own permit. And he does not have insuranc

I contacted Anthony Maldonado on March 8th 2024 for repairs due to a plumbing leak. What should have taken a few weeks, took several months. There were many delays due to workers not coming when I was told they would be there, personal delays from contractor (Anthony) and materials delay. He was not on site to check the workers, and a few things had to be redone. 95% was done, he did tell me that when everything was done he would do a walk thru and make a punch list for touch ups and any issues that needed to be corrected. This never happened. I spent a few thousand of dollar over the insurance payment and have been asking for a revised claim estimate so that I could send to the insurance company to get reimbursed for the extra money that I paid. Between June and October, I have tried to contact him at least 12 times via test message, voice message and email. As of today January 10, 2025, I still have not received a response from Anthony.

Hired him to lay down flooring in multiple rooms and update our electrical box. His first guy came and absolutely ruined the first room - used 5 gallons of glue that was supposed to do like 3000sqft in a 200sqft room (as well as got said glue all over the house, and the whole process took this guy 2-3 weeks). Then his second guy started putting in flooring completely wrong in another room. It took well over 2 months for Anthony to get back in an scrape up the ruined flooring (that we had to replace). After another month of him never showing up to do anything, he finally had another crap company come in his place that knocked out all the flooring, but did a terrible job under his direction which lead to me personally having to replace have the flooring they did anyways. He wasted months of our time, thousands in material, and I'm just happy he never touched the electrics.

We thought that we were in good hands, and when he did well, but all of a sudden, he stopped and left us in shambles. lost thousands of dollars, and he had thousands of dollars and never returned. We called and texted, and when he did get in contact, he had nothing but excuses and promises. Please, please don't hire this guy!!! Please ban him, or he will continue to defraud more people.

Anthony Maldonado and his team were hired to build an addition to an existing building on my property. The addition is a simple laundry room with outside access. The addition project included a cement slab roughly 8 feet by 8 feet, 2 exterior walls to tie into the existing building, a roof with roofing material to match, exterior siding, electrical and plumbing for the washer and dryer. Anthony visited me at my property on June 25th to discuss the project at an all-in-cash price of $10,000. By June 26th, I paid him $6,000 cash to get the project started and going. As we discussed in a text message, the remaining balance was to be due upon completion of the project. Anthony said in his text message that it should not be a problem getting the project done by the first week of July. Throughout the process, we had some storms that affected the timeline and I took that into account for the project and the safety of Anthony and his team. However, no real activity occurred and only seemed to take place when I bugged him enough that he would send someone over to do a little work. The work his framing team did originally was not done to code and needed to be redone. This happened because Anthony failed to visit the property to check on things. The plumbers installed the plumbing on the completely wrong wall, again because Anthony was not there to oversee it. I do not currently live in Galveston Texas full time. This property was purchased by my wife and I as a rental property investment. Since purchasing the home in June, I have been forced to travel to Galveston 3 times to work on the home and motivate Anthony to get the job done that I hired him to do. The last time I was in Galveston was in August and he finally stopped by the property and stated that he would not charge me any more money and that he would get the job done while I was still in town. None of what he promised happened, I was only met with excuse after excuse. He has consistently not followed through on his word of when the project would be complete and when someone would show up. Currently, the house project is a construction zone, the roof has been covered with a tarp for months, and debris has been scattered throughout my yard since June. I have been losing money every day this project is not complete because no one wants to rent a house that is under construction. The project is barely 50% complete but I have paid him 80% of the total project or $8,000.

Anthony communicated well the required work to make my project the best it could be. He did the work quickly and efficientlyâ ¦.post Hurricane! I plan to continue using these services.
