Affordable Heat & Air serviced my HVAC systems as follows:
5-7-15 Unit low on 410A; performed leak search, found no leak, found no leak, added 4 lbs 410 A and added leak sealant
Note: I was told there was a leak, and Brandon had to leave to buy Freon and sealant
5-20-15 Bad 45 + cap
Note: I was told that a capacitor was replaced
6-20-15 Spoke with Mae of AHS to advice that neither system was working properly. She transferred me to the recall department
7-21-15 Found one unit trying to keep up due to other one two pounds low charged with 410A and put caps back on since Brandon already charged.
I have attempted on numerous occasions to utilize the online service request but my information is not recognized by the system.
On 7-30-15 I placed a call to AHS?s 24 hour service request line 877-489-3659 and my call was never answered. On 7-31-15, I placed another call to AHS holding for 46 minutes; my call was never answered.
On 8/10/15, out of complete frustration, I contacted Affordable Heat & Air. I was told that they did ?what AHS told them to do.? I made the suggestion that Affordable Heat & Air is the expert and responsible for properly diagnosing the problem and to fix it. I was basically told they have no control over what they do because AHS pays them, and AHS authorizes the work.
8/12/15 I mailed a letter to American Home Shield and copied Affordable Heat and Air. Neither entity was professional enough to respond to my letter. As of 8/30/15, even in cooler outside temperatures, my systems continue to struggle to maintain 80 degrees or below.
It is my belief that only minimal effort was put forth and there has been absolutely no effort to properly diagnose and fix our HVAC issues. I am extremely dissatisfied with AHS and Affordable Heat & Air.
