Mr. Foster opined on his first walk-through of the house that the entire sale "might" generate in the range of $8,000 to $10,000; before he left that same meeting, he reduced that estimate by approximately 20%. One comment he made specifically was that the silver service, since silver sells by weight, was worth in the neighborhood of $3,000. Over the 2-day sale, Mr. Foster sold everything in the house - including the silver - except 2 chairs, clothing/shoes, and a mattress. The entire sales grossed only $4,114. Subsequent questions regarding specific details went unanswered, with the explanation that he performed according to the contract, of which we had a copy. We found Mr. Foster to be uncommunicative and unprofessional, and would not use him again nor recommend him to anyone else.
