I cannot comment on and haven't rated the price or quality of construction completed by David Kae Custom Homes in any other location. My comments relate to the demolition and safety measures at this site only which I have personally witnessed: Quality F: I rate F based on the quality of their safety measures and poor attempt to secure the open excavations they left in the sidewalk. Responsiveness F: On 19th August 2012, the city of Houston filed a violation addressing the open excavations on the pavement, weeds and overgrown nature of the premises but nothing has been done about it nearly two months later. Punctuality F: This building has been derelict for 12 months. The excavation on the street has been open for at least 3 months, despite violations filed by the city. Professionalism F: There is an open hole on the side walk measuring 5' 6" x 3' in diameter and 3' deep with a mound of earth beside it. The hole has an old door lying over it (not secured and not completely covering the hole) with the word "danger" spray painted on it. There are also some old packing crates lying over the hole, again, not secured or completely covering the hole. There is another excavation of similar diameter and 1' deep that has been partially overgrown by weeds, but the hole is still there. These are appallingly poor safety measures and have been there for over 3 months. This is a public street. This review was written on 11th October 2013.
