The Grass Guy Lawn Services

The owner of this company, Kevin Anderson is the most dishonest person I have ever dealt with. His company was supposed to cut our grass and do a general yard clean up along with laying some sod. The guys who cut the grass did an awful job. They left large areas completely un-mowed and did not blow off the driveway from their edging and clippings. However, the worst part was dealing with Mr. Anderson himself. We agreed on a set price for the yard clean up along with the sod. Less than half of the job was completed and when I contacted Mr Anderson he blamed me saying it was my fault...how his company not finishing a job was my fault I am not sure, not only did he blame me but he also said that he would not finish the job and I should call someone else as it was no longer his problem. He then billed me the full amount for the work the was not completed. I paid him as to not have to deal with him any more. However, he continued sending me invoices and threatening to send my bill to a collection agency even though it had been paid and I have a receipt. A complaint has been filed with the BBB.

Very inconsistent on the quality of the work.  Sometimes it would be done very well, and sometimes very haphazard.  I spoke to Kevin several times about this.   Finally, in spite of my conversations with Kevin on the poor service provided, it was consistently AWFUL - part of the yard scalped with a weed eater (they kept using that to mow!), my honeysuckle cut down (weed eater again), no edging done, sticks left all over the yard.   Finally I cancelled the service and am looking for another.

I called for a quote on getting my lawn mowed and edged and the price was out of this world.

We had this service for years, but the quality went down and the accounting of our bill was not reliable.

When you call, doesn't get back to you. Can be very rude over the phone and doesn't show up when he says he is going to be there and if not able to complete work he doesn't come back to complete it.
Prices are subjective.

Great service for over 6 months and counting. They're punctual and communicate clearly through email.

It was a last minute notice and he picked up my lawn for a month while I was out on medical leave.

He is efficient and does a good job. The price is reasonable.

Excellent! Provided an estimate and then came out and did the job, on time as stated. Kevin is a super nice guy, professional and does what he says he will do.
