Description of Work: I reached out to Kevin to give an estimate on building a custom cabinet piece. He initially was responsive to my request via text message, but he disappeared. After conversing with him a couple of times, he quit responding so this tells me that he is not reliable. I would not recommend him for future business.

Description of Work: I researched quite a few companies to build a built in entertainment center. I got three estimates, one of those was Triple M. They all came out and measured, and talked to me about what I wanted. Kevin was the most knowledgable. No doubt in part because he does the work. Other companies that I called, sent a salesman out. I think that is stupid. Kevin is a one man show. He has a ton of experience, and it shows. He is super nice, and he knows his stuff. I will say that it was a bit of a debate, because he honestly up front says he is not insured or bonded. I made the decision to use him however. Some people never would, but that was my decision. I also debated because I had to pay a rather large deposit, and had to wait approximately 6 weeks before he could start. I did not know if he would take the money and run. So, HUGE leap of faith there. What I got was gorgeous. This man is so talented. He made me a gorgeous built in, he listened to what I wanted. He made the changes in the design I wanted. He was a forward thinker; it is expandable. He bought the stain that my builder used in my kitchen, so I have great continuity. His price was great. And this is where I think I lost him. To explain, I told him on his final visit for the install, that his price was considerably lower than the competition. I did not elaborate. Price was not the only factor in my choosing him. I also told him that I wanted to have him build a built in in my husbands office, and a couple of other things. After he did the final install, I could never, and I mean never, get him to return my calls. He did answer an email request for an invoice showing paid in full. He sent it to me straight away. I was heartbroken. I do not know what happened. The only thing I can think of is he maybe felt like he underbid my project, and did not want to do another for me. I really don't know. But I will say he does great work. I would hire him again, even at a higher price, in a minute. I would have the same concerns about the insurance. But you know what? I have hired insured and bonded companies in the past that have done horrible work and made me sorry that I ever hired them. Everyone has to make their own decision of what they will or will not do. Kevin is just so talented.

Description of Work: Kevin came out to give me an estimate for some custom home office furniture. Was punctual on the initial visit and appeared knowledgeable and helped with design, but never followed up with drawings and an estimate. He responded to emails and phone calls promising the drawings and estimate the following day, but never followed through. I gave him several opportunities to let me know if he was still interested in the job, but he didn't have the courtesy to let me know one way or the other.

Description of Work: Kevin and his team do general handyman tasks, as well as custom-made furniture and media room design. I found out about them from a door-to-door flyer and have had them do a ton of things for me, including designing a platform for my media room and custom furniture to house the equipment. The platform was $1200. I have never been disappointed with his work nor have the people that I referred to him. I have spent about $2500 total on miscellaneous things including the platform.
