My dryer was displaying an airflow error. I rearranged my afternoon meetings to have the dryer repaired, but when that company came out, they told me it was a vent issue, and they didn't do those. They recommended Dryer Vent. I called (after lunch), and the earliest Jason (the owner) could come was tomorrow. Jason knew today worked best for me, and he called me back a couple of hours later, changed his afternoon schedule, and came on out today. The vent cap was not suitable for a dryer, and lint was catching at the top of the pipe, wedged under the cap. He changed the cap and cleaned the pipe from the roof to the dryer. He was prompt, arrived when he said he would, showed me the vent cap he was going to put on, showed me the cap he removed, and showed me pictures of the work. I was super impressed - very nice man, and really bent over backwards to accommodate my schedule today. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

This is a specialist service, and those with a short, easy to clean dryer vent conduit may never need it; however, in our case, the dryer venting goes up through the wall and into a tall roofline. The builders had done an incomplete job of installation and we had a longstanding pile of vent debris in the attic and dangerous buildup in the vents, as well as a broken conduit in the wall which had literally burst open the sheetrock. Previous dryer repair people and plumbers had looked at our issues and were not able to diagnose and successfully treat the problem that we had, which resulted from the incorrect installation and buildup. Jason showed up on time, provided a clear explanation of what was necessary, then set to work. He went on the roof twice, replaced the roof vent which was the incorrect type, and reset it in the roof in a different place to provide a better angle. He also added several feet of venting. Our vent column was almost completely clogged with lint. Jason noted that 15,000 house fires per year can be related to dryer vents! I have referred his service to several friends and will definitely call when we need this service again. A long-standing problem was resolved!

Jason (owner) showed up ahead of time with a great professional demeanor. He was able to clean our vents very thoroughly in a short amount of time. Our home had over 20' of venting from the dryer to the exterior. With close to 5 yrs of build up, it was definitely needed. Not only did he clean the ducts, he replaced our non-recommended and hazardous foil connection from the dryer to the wall. He also cleaned the inside of the dryer lint trap and had it looking like new! The improvement in flow was about 150%. How do I know? He monitors that as well! Jason replaced a broken exterior vent with a pest-proof vent on our exterior. His service and attention to detail is top notch! Any homeowner would be wise to have this service performed on an annual basis. I will definitely have this done annually and North Texas Dryer Vent Wizard will be my 'go to'. I highly recommend!
