Paz did an excellent job installing two outdoor ceiling fans and a pendant light in the office. Neither job was straightforward because the fixtures required unusual mounting, and the fans required extra wiring. Paz came up with a solution and completed the work in a few hours. The company gave us a quote and stuck with it. The are honest and reliable. We absolutely will use them again for any electrical needs.

He was very professional. He put on booties without being asked, to protect my floors. He took care of the fan installation in one visit. I think it took him less than an hour!

The technician came and replaced the outlet on my porch. At first, he thought it was a simple fix by pushing in the little button on it, but then discovered it needed more help. So he replaced the outlet. It works fine now. He even helped me fix the timers for my bushes I have plugged in. It was super....and I really appreciated his help!

I'm very happy with the service I received from Paz, and I would definitely hire Mr. Electric of Frisco again! They seem to be an excellent company! The electrician, Paz, was professional, kind, considerate, trustworthy, and highly competent. He rather quickly diagnosed the problem I was having with the electricity to my shed. I have a few small complaints about the customer service from the scheduling office, which rendered the experience "less than perfect." I have had so many weird problems with the electricity to my shed over the years, that I requested a master electrician, NOT a journeyman. I made my request very clear. I was assured I would get one. But I did NOT get one -- I got a journeyman electrician. The good news, is that it turned out I WAS WRONG. Paz was fantastic and surely every bit as good as a master electrician might be. I think my original understanding of the difference may have been wrong -- or at least it was wrong in the case of Paz! He expertly, and very professionally and politely, fixed my problem, and more (he recommended a new switch, too, in place of the 29-year-old switch in my shed -- it was, in retrospect, very clear that I needed a new one). My two complaints about Mr. Electric of Frisco: When I initially saw that they sent a journeyman electrician and not a master electrician, I called the office, frustrated. The very polite and kind customer service attendant (Lucretia) told me that she had "master electrician" on my "paperwork," but that dispatch/scheduling (?) does the assigning and they rearranged the schedule without a word to Lucretia or to me. They decided to send a journeyman electrician instead. That's just the way their process works, Lucretia said. (Well, what good is THAT, for the customer making the request?) The next appointment for a master electrician would be "a week from now." I had already waited a week for THIS one! Well, as it turned out, it all worked out very well anyway. Paz was Perfect! 5 Stars for Paz!. The other minor complaint about scheduling/dispatch was that I was given a 3-hour window and promised a 30-minute-minimum advance call prior to the electrician showing up. I got a call at 3:40pm saying that my electrician would be there in 15 minutes. I was out and about, and engaged in something else, expecting a 30-minute notice, minimum, as promised. I dropped everything and RUSHED home. _Twenty-five minutes_ later, I received a text from Paz saying he would be there "in 8 minutes." He arrived 20 minutes AFTER that text, at about 4:23pm. In other words, my "15-minute" notice, that was supposed to be a "minimum of 30-minutes" notice, was actually a "43-minute" notice. I don't mind receiving 43-minutes notice, of course, OR 30-minutes notice. What I DO mind is being told that I had just "15-minutes" to RUSH home, when it surely must have been CLEAR to the lady who called me that Paz would not possibly arrive in just 15-minutes. My perception is that this was a case of "You, the Customer, should WAIT for US, because WE, the Service Provider, don't want to be bothered waiting for YOU." They put themselves first on this one. And that's less than Perfect customer service is my book. As for pricing, I thought the pricing for the original job -- diagnosing and fixing the wiring problem to my shed ($164), was fair and likely better (definitely as good as) I could have gotten anywhere else. I was pleased with it. I'm pretty sure it was "better than or at" market rates. But when Paz pointed out that my 29-year-old switch to the shed was also in bad repair (it was -- I just hadn't noticed), I asked him to replace it as well. I thought the additional price charged to replace that switch was too high ($52). It took a very short time to replace it; it was straight-forward work; the electricity was already off to the shed and all set up for a repair; and the amount of time he spent diagnosing and fixing the original problem was quite short, too -- most assuredly shorter than I expected on the original estimate. So, all told, I think that perhaps I was charged too much overall, by maybe about $25, or so. It wasn't enough "too much" to feel ripped off ... I DON'T feel ripped off ... but it was enough "too much" to take away my good feelings about the price. I expected a more "reasonable" quote for the light switch, given that the diagnosis and repair for the original work went so quickly and that I had already paid for a repair to "1-4 electrical openings" and that he actually had to repair just "1"). Still, I was very happy to have everything fixed at once, and I'm glad Paz pointed out the bad switch and fixed it for me. If it cost me about $25 too much (in my opinion), then so be it. But that's the lengthy explanation for why I gave Mr. Electric of Frisco a "B" for Pricing instead of an "A," which they would have gotten if the switch were replaced for around $25 extra instead of $52 extra. So, in sum, EXCELLENT company; EXCELLENT electrician; EXCELLENT customer service from Lucretia, the receptionist. I would definitely hire them again! :) BUT, two problems keep me from being completely and fully delighted with the experience: the journeyman versus master electrician (which worked out great, as it turns out), and problematic notification that caused me to drop everything unnecessarily and RUSH home. Otherwise, this was an excellent experience; excellent electrician, Paz; excellent customer service from Lucretia.
