"[Member Name Removed], We were anticipating your review based on you threatening to after your profanity laced tirade. We don’t have “Some good reviews”, we have over 600 5 star reviews. That's a reflection of our company culture to take excellent care of our customers. Let's address the points of your review in order. • You told Daniel and Kenny, the work was great - not good. • Generally most roofs have toe boards to keep the on-site workers safe. The holes all get filled at project end. This is standard practice. • The drip edge was fixed immediately, this is not how we left it. The paint was from a previous job you had done- and we sent the before pics to you showing that. We still tried to remove it. • The timeframe you have referenced was long, but not entirely of Elevated’s making. You had personal business elsewhere that delayed the job. • For the siding, we gave you a price to complete the work- not for a certain amount of wood. You signed a contract for that price. We completed the work exactly as promised, and cut no corners- and you said the work was great. This would be like you contracting for a home, and asking for a refund when some of the framing wood was not used for whatever reason. We always over order for everything, that way we do not run out on the job site. The one issue was our subcontractor telling you anything about extra material. He should not be saying anything as he does not know. We did correct that issue. Daniel called you to try and provide solutions. You lost negotiating power and goodwill with us when you chose to start using profanity in the call with him. We bend over backwards to ensure we do a great job for our customers. Under no circumstance is profanity in communications acceptable to us. As with any other project we do for our customers, if you have any issues with quality or warranty, we will most certainly stand behind it and ensure you are taken care of."
“This Spring (2016), I contracted with Elevated Roofing to replace my hail damaged roof. Mike was very professional and his service was excellent! He also worked with the insurance company with me and I was able to get the very best quote. Mike had the crew on the job the day we agreed upon and it was finished in two days. The crew did an excellent job and all debris was cleaned up so I could hardly tell anyone had been working at my home. Great job guys! I would definitely recommend Mike and Elevated Roofing to take care of any of your roofing needs. He gets a 5-Star rating in my book!
- We had an excellent experience with Elevated Roofing. Mike Witte had done some repairs on my daughter's roof prior to her putting
- it on the market this summer. She was so impressed by the way he handled the work, that I decided to contact him about an inspection on our roof. From our first phone contact to the end of the installation of a new roof, Mike was totally honest, informative, punctual, and polite. I appreciated his knowledge and experience and the manner in which he dealt with my insurance company. His crews did a great job and did a thorough cleanup at the end. I have recommended him to neighbors and friends.
First issue - instead of calling to schedule a time, Mike (the owner) called and left a message that he would be stopping by later in the day and he did. He examined the roof and advised that while a roof replacement was not necessary, the roof did require some repairs. He quoted a price of $900. I asked for the information in writing and he asked me to e-mail him for the information.
My family and I went out of town over the weekend and I got busy and did not e-mail him. Tim contacted me on Tuesday to ask for my e-mail address. Second issue - I advised him that Mike quoted me a price of $900.00 and he said it would be more than that. The price was now $1,600.00. At my request, he asked Mike for some information on the price increase and was told that it was because I had two chimneys. Third issue - Tim said Mike would call me to discuss. After waiting some time, I called back and said I would go with someone else. Tim worked to save the sale and I agreed to wait for Mike to call me to discuss. As of today's review, Mike has not called.
Very disappointing, because based on the Angie's List reviews and the quality of the office personnel, I thought I had found a company that I could use long-term for roofing and general repairs given our desire to maintain the interior and exterior of our home.
I would use him again for any of my roofing needs.
