After further reviewing our company voicemail, e-mail and Angie's list message center I was unable to locate any communications from you. That said, if you would have contacted us before placing this review we could have resolved and addressed the issues and your concerns in a professional manner. As for the picture and comments regarding the stovetop, we Detailed Home Cleaning do not and have never used any type of metal brush to clean anything. In fact, we do not even stock these types of items in our supplies. From the picture on your post this looks like normal wear and tear. If this was something that was caused by a cleaning procedure you would see more of a pattern of scratches instead of random specs. However, if you still feel this is the case our company is insured and bonded and would be willing to submit a claim with our insurance company. As far as the dark spots in the drawer in your bathroom it looks to be more of a stain. In the last picture of the shelf it appears to be a sticky caked on substance which you refer to as grease that would do more harm removing it than not to. In the past when we have come across situations such as this the only way to fully clean it is to strip and repaint the item. As for the cobwebs and baseboards this is something we could have fully addressed if contacted. However without seeing these issues in person I cannot be 100% certain that this is the case. I am 1000% positive that the damage to the stove as shown in the photo was not there before your cleaners cleaned the house. I respect your cleaners who are working hard to make ends meet and I don’t go about making such accusations for no reason. It may not be a metal brush mark but I really don’t know what caused it – may be some chemical spill or something. The entire right side panel was flawless before your cleaners showed up and I trusted them when they were done so I didnt even do an after clean walk-thro. The grease mark on the shelf went away when I used kaboom and scrubbed it with a plastic brush for a couple of minutes. It is unacceptable that the cleaners did not even do that. You are deep cleaners and cant just wipe dust away with a cloth and leave. My wife and I had to spend an hour after your cleaners left. There were many other problems that I did not even complain about. I have already turned the house over to the landlord so there is nothing that you can do at this time. If you are going to take care of the stove damage, I’ll consider withdrawing my review. "Detailed Home cleaning serviced the customer’s home from June 20, 2011 to September 7, 2012. Our services consisted of four crew members performing home cleaning services three hours per visit on a monthly basis. Detailed Home Cleaning did pay $75.00 to the customer for the following concept: repair stained cabinets in master bath, kitchen, and office area, which she deducted from our last payment on September 7, 2012. We offered to pay for the following damages she also claimed our crew members were responsible for but never received an invoice: 1) kohler toilet handle repair and 2) wall plaster repair. The customer did not discontinue service with us; Detailed Home Cleaning decided to no longer offer her our home cleaning services as of September 24, 2012 same day she received the notice due to the fact that we did not want to create any further damage in her home. One month after we had terminated services, the customer sent us an invoice in the amount of $225.00 on October 26, 2012, for the following concept: driveway damage from cleaning crew pouring chemicals on the driveway, scrape affected areas, seal areas, apply epoxy to affected areas. In the Angie’s List complaint the customer indicates that the damage to the driveway was $200.00 which she is now requesting $400.00. In an e-mail we received from her she mentioned that she spent $7,000.00 re-surfacing the drive way, front and back. The invoice we received does not match any of the amounts she is indicating. We asked the customer to provide us with a copy of the chemical testing she said she had done to the driveway along with photos of the damage. She was not able to provide us with this information for we decided to send this claim with our insurance company which is currently under investigation."
