C.P. Custom Construction

CP Custom Construction (owner Christian Arroyo Payano) should never be hired. *SCAM ARTIST* It is difficult make this review descriptive enough for anyone to understand how deceptive and unqualified he and his crew are. They were never on time, never stayed until the end of a work day, and ruined personal property that was in the house. C.P. Construction’s contract said that renovation would take 5 weeks. After over 5 months it still wasn’t done. In all Christian was paid 60% over his contract price for his work, which he never finished. After I fired him, I had to pay a new contractor thousands of dollars not only to complete the job, but to fix Christian’s substandard work. Electrical issues: live wires sealed into walls, drilled through an outlet into wires, connected the dishwasher to the garbage disposal outlet, multiple electrical and cable outlets that worked before he started didn’t work after he was at the house, shorted out 2 chandeliers with faulty wiring. Plumbing: leaks in the kitchen and both bathrooms, installed faucets so that cold was hot and hot was cold. Painted the entire inside of house with only primer, and claimed it was actual paint. His excuses included: illness in family, death in family, hospitalization in family, flat tires, doctor visits, and more.

This is a construction horror story. I don't have a lot of space to tell the whole story so I'll give you the highlights. I hired Christian Payano (aka Christian Payano Arroyo) in Sept. to remodel my two bathrooms. He said it would take 4 weeks, I am now in my third month. And: 1. He wouldn't pay his subcontractor so no work got done for a week. 2. His cat got sick so he stopped communicating for a few days. 3. He disappeared after Thanksgiving (I can't get ahold of him by phone or email). 4. He still has $10,000 worth of my supplies (mirror, vanity toilets, etc.). I am taking him to court to recoup my cost. I strenuously do not recommend Christian, CP Custom Construction, at all!
