Jim Kozlow provided an estimate and informed me of the date that he would perform the repairs. He arrived on schedule and performed the work as agreed and then some for a very reasonable price. I am very pleased with the service and professionalism of this company.

Could not have been better. It was great. Very happy with outcome and price I paid.

Jim Kozlow is extremely professional, experienced and knowledgeable. He responded to our initial call very promptly. When he stopped by to assess our situation (the back wall of our fence was leaning), he explained his plan to resolve the problem and gave us a quote. Within a week, he scheduled an appointment to repair our fence. He was considerate and called beforehand to verify that the time was convenient. Arrived on time and completed the job--fence looks great! Thank you, Jim!!

I cannot say enough good things in this review. Jim arrived promptly and was extremely polite. He replaced our broken latch (which is what I called him for) but also sawed down and reshaped the gate so it would not drag or stick anymore, and took care to install the latch in such a way that our dog would not be able to open it. All of that done without me even having to ask. I greatly appreciate that kind of thoroughness!

I am very pleased with the work done by Jim Kozlow. He responded promptly to my call and showed up just when he said he would to do the estimate. I found Jim to be professional, honest and fair. He showed me the minor repairs that needed to be done and informed me that the fence was in overall good shape. Jim got my estimate to me on the same day and did the job 5 days later. He arrived on time and finished within a couple of hours. The fence looks great!

I used them twice before. The first time I use them, the wind put down a section of my fence, so they came and repaired it. The second time, there were some damaged caused by lawn service company, so the guy came. Each time, the guy comes quickly, and his bid is accurate. He does the work quickly. If you have any questions, he comes back. I just would not use anybody else. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

What I like about Jim is that he is professional, prompt, honest, and competent. He calls you back in a timely manner, is pleasant, knows what he is talking about, and shows up when he says he will. The work he does is very good. We used Action a few years ago to replace a section of our fence and were happy with the work, so we used them again for this job. Jim came out and looked at the problem, and called me to let me know what he could do to help us. He scheduled the work for the follwoing week and showed up on the scheduled morning. The work was completed by early afternoon. I think they did a very nice job. It looks good and is very stable. Jim noticed that a few repairs need to be made to our fence and provided an estimate. We will always use Action Fence because it is a pleasant, stress-free experience every time.

Jim with Action Fence arrived right on time to give us an estimate. We agreed on price and he said that he would be back on Saturday morning to do the work. He confirmed by phone on Friday and arrive punctually Saturday morning. He took a couple of hours to do the work. Those three posts are the firmest ones in the 350' of fencing. Good work - fair price.

The work was done efficiently and professionally. We have used Action Fence before and would definitely call them again.

Promptly responed to a request for an estimate to repair 3 sections of fencing that had been damaged in a car accident. Provided a very reasonable estimate for the repairs. Once the insurance company accepted the estimate and provided payment to us the fence was promptly repaired. Jim put forth the extra effort to find fencing that would match the existing fence. We will not hesitate to use Action Fence again when the fence is damaged in the next accident which happens on a regular basis.

Every step start to finish went just as Jim, owner planned to provide the customer with excellent service. Believe it or not, Jim's past
fence repairs stood strong against our 3rd storm damages. The damages are always different. One way or the other, we may have a
new well built fence by Jim's company. We will continue to call Action Fence first.

After reading several reviews on Angies list for fence repair - I called Action Fence and Repair. Jim (Owner) responded quickly and came out to give me an estimate on my relatively small job. Jim called back the same day and gave me an estimate over the phone - I thought the estimate was very reasonable, and I gave Jim the "go-ahead". He told be it would be a couple of weeks before he could get to it and that was fine with me as there was no urgency to get it done. Jim called back a couple of hours later and said he had a cancellation and could do the job the next day. Jim and one crew member came out this morning and completed the job in about 3 hours. - Very professional, excellent work, and at an excellent price. I'm very happy and would definitely use Action Fence and Repair againj.

He had a great reputation on Angie's List. He was hard to get because everybody wanted him. He did an excellent job. It was an excellent price. I would recommend that guy to anybody. People told me that they would have to pull the poles out and do some other things and gave me estimates. The guy from Action told me that they hadn't put enough poles close enough together when they put the fence up. He told me that he could take care of that and that he wouldn't have to even pull the poles out. The neighbor's tree just barely missed my patio when it came down and he did an excellent job on the fence repair. His name is Jim Kozlow. I highly recommend that guy if you can get him. He even goes out of way and does things to save money. He doesn't even ask for money in advance. He says to look at it after the work is done and if you like it then you pay him. The price was right. His price was better than everybody else's. His work was really really excellent.

Jim combines all of the qualities that consumers long to find in a contractor but rarely find in such a happy combination: He was prompt with the inspection and estimate, and after my approval of the job, he performed the needed repairs according to the agreed-on schedule. His estimate included some optional, and quot;recommended,and quot; items; repairs that he noted were not critical but that I might want to consider. His professional manner and obvious knowledge of his craft and of my town's fencing standards, as well as my preference for and quot;preventive maintenance,and quot;led to my including those items.

He and his assistant arrived on schedule and completed the work handily. As far as I could see on close inspection, the structural and cosmetic results were flawless. Jim found that he had, in fact, slightly underestimated the job and that he had to replace more pickets than he had originally bid on. I offered to pay the overage, but he declined, saying that he always tries to add a few extras to every job, extras that the average company might not think of. A number of extra pickets, a few top-rail runners, and an inside gate handle were among the unbid and uncharged items that he included. and quot;It's the right way to do business,and quot; he said, and quot;and it helps to build customer loyalty and repeat business.and quot;.

A cynic's thought might be that he had built such extras into the initial bid, but the going rates in the market defeat that explanation. In fact, his final price included an Angie's List discount. Jim is simply a craftsman who has pride in his work and a businessman who treats others as he would want to be treated.

When we discussed payment methods, after the work had been done, he said that he would happily accept an electronic check, which, by the way, takes five business days for delivery. No money up front; no money at the time of completion. Just complete trust in his customer, as he knows his customers trust him.

A glowing report such as this would possibly have more credibility if I could find a flaw that signaled my intense objectivity; but I can think of no issue to fault. Jim is a splendid craftsman, a businessman who is dedicated to the highest ethical and professional ideals, and all in all, a most pleasant fellow to do business with. I have no hesitation in giving him the strongest and warmest recommendation.

My wife was so impressed with this guy and so was I. He did a super job. We have never seen our gate work so well in the last seven years that we have been here. He was very professional and one of things that stood out to us was his honesty. He gave us a bid and it turned out that he had to use lumber but he still kept his price right at his bid. That was pretty unusual to me. He was just a classy guy and his workmanship was fantastic.

Jim was very professional. He called back in a timely manner, and was polite and knowledgeable. He stuck to the estimate amount and was done in half a day. The work was done well and the fence looks nice.
