Easily. I spoke with four electricians recommended and found each person knowledgeable and pleasant, but in the end I went with Alan and Mustang Electric in Friendswood.  His identification of what was wrong and how he would fix it was calming. 
The problem I had was in a certain switch that would frequently cut off when lights or appliances were used between two rooms.  If you watched "Green Acres" you'll probably remember how the kitchen was set up.  Each appliance was labeled with a number and the combined usage couldn't exceed seven.  Any more and the fuses would blow.  Similar experience except I didn't have a reliable guide to consult which created an atmosphere of high anxiety.  Using a little LED lantern instead of a light switch, and giving up ironing my clothes and blow-drying my hair relieved some of the stress.  Even so, I could never really be sure and looking a disheveled mess wasn't really as easy as it sounds.
He came by on a Saturday, no extra charge, and arrived on time all nice and neater than I was.  He replaced the breaker in just a few minutes.  I tested the iron, the blow-dryer, and some lights simultaneously without the power going out.  It was fixed!  His fee was reasonable.  I  paid him with a bank card and he was on his way. At no extra charge I purchased something else:  Peace of mind.  What relief!  And so easily accomplished.  The only hard part of it all was wondering where I could find a suitable candidate for the job; that's where Angie's List came in.  I spoke with a very nice and competent young lady who guided my steps and it all worked out so well I plan on using the service for a few other thorns in my side.  Well done!

I thought I had a big problem because the switches all went out at the same time. I kept having a breaker flip whenever I used a certain outlet for the iron or vacuum cleaner. The breaker box was put in by someone else...not Mustang Electric, but they would never call me back about the issue that kept happening. This is why I used Mustang because of the great reviews on Angie's list. Alan Thomas was punctual, professional and patient. He waited when the Air Condition people showed up a little earlier than expected to put in my new thermostat. They were in the area where he had to check an outlet. 

 

He is also very honest. I was writing the check for $225.00. That's what I thought he said. But then he corrected me, "Oh no ma'am it is $125.00."  He will be my electrician from now on. I hope I don't need any electric work any time soon though! Thank you Mustang Electric. I'm so happy to have all my outlets working now.

 

 

 

He was very professional.  He completed all the work on time, and on budget.  Best of all, he was very clean and tidy (he seemed to appreciate that he was in OUR home doing the work, and not on a construction site).

Overall, Alan was very polite, professional and did the job above and beyond in my opinion, in taking the extra time and having to work a bit harder to make as few access holes as possible. He even cleaned up all the dirt and dust from cutting the access holes in the drywall. His prompt service enabled us to have our new appliances delivered and installed on time. I'd highly recommend using him for all your electrical needs and will continue to use him for any of my electrical jobs I have in the future.

Alan answered his cell phone, I described the problem, and he said he'd be here in a couple of hours.  In about an hour and a half, the door bell rang, and Alan was ready to go.  I showed him the problem and described what had been going on, and he quickly figured out the root cause of it all.  He had to go to the hardware store to buy a new GFI, and he returned promptly and installed it.  He was courteous and professional, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone in our (Friendswood) area.  Or any other area, for that matter. 
As far as I can tell, his rates are about what I'd expect.  I'm pleased with his service and the cost. 

We liked them a whole lot and we will use them again when we need them.  We were happy with the price.  My husband knows how to do electric but this was a little more than he could do, and he was very happy with the work.  They came when they said they would and they did great work.

What should have been a rather routine job got complicated when Alan unknowingly cut a consealed wire that controlled the garage door openers. Unfortunately this was not noticed until after Alan had left and my wife arrived home from work and couldn't open her garage door. I called Alan on his cell and explained our problem. He knew exactly what happened and rushed back to fix it which required a new line to be installed from the attic by-passing the cut wire. He was most apologetic and had all running in about an hour and half. All expenses were adsorbed by Alan. Bottom Line: Most routine jobs go smoothly but you can tell a lot about a vendor by how they respond and the way you're treated when they don't! I wouldn't hesitate to use Mustang Electric again...
