JT was the consummate professional. I was concerned about some visible cracking in the front corner of my foundation. JT assured me that what I was seeing was just surface aging of the foundation, no evidence of structural damage. He even took the extra time accurately check my slab's levelness and followed it up with a written report. Then he refused any money. Generocity's promise of free estimates is real!

First of all, the communication from this company was very impressive. I received appointment reminders and updates via text which was very helpful especially with our busy schedules. Secondly, JT arrived on time and evaluated our home thoroughly both inside and out taking numerous measurements and inspecting for cracks. He was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He explained our situation and provided us with recommendations and resources to ensure the integrity of our home's foundation remains intact due to the extreme weather conditions we have been experiencing. Lastly, when repair work is required, we will definitely be going with Generocity. Thank you, JT, for your hard work and honest evaluation of our home.

Generocity Foundation repair was 1 of 5 companies I contacted that looked at this, they were the most responsive, showing up within 2 days. JT addressed all of the concerns brought up through a potential Buyers inspection report with only cosmetic repairs for minimal cost. He was punctual, and really went above and beyond assisting with determining where water intrusion was occurring.

Very professional people. Ben was very knowledgeable about the engineering of the job and was straightforward with us about the details that would happen. Liberty was also smart and very attentive as a project manager letting us know the events happening in real time. A great communicator. Juan was the Forman an executed the project very competently. The crew performed the work quietly (other than the jackhammer), and the final results were just as we anticipated. Good job Generocity,

19 piers, 10 of which required cut-outs & concrete patches. Estimate was in the same ballpark as other foundation repair services. Quick response on the written estimate. Took about 10 days from deposit till work began. Only real negative was communication about the City of Pearland inspection of the work, required by the permit. They up an left in the middle of the day because they couldn't proceed further with filling in the holes until it had passed inspection. As far as the quality and speed of work it proceeded better than expected with all the drizzle and rain. Took three days of work excluding the one rain-out day right in the middle of the job.

We had multiple companies give us estimates for leveling our house and car port. It took several days to get an appointment with Generocity to come do an estimate. A day or two of phone tag until I spoke with Gerald, and then waiting for a couple days for him to give me an appointment date and time. (The other companies all came out within a day or two of my first phone call). Gerald was on time for the appointment and was professional, polite, and friendly. He performed his evaluation, and then discussed with us in detail what he had determined and what he anticipated the proposed work would be. He wanted to review it with an engineer at the office before giving us the written proposal, which was fine. The next day, he emailed the detailed proposal to us. ** All the estimates we received, including Generocity’s, involved detailed evaluation of the house and electronic measurement of the elevation differences. All concluded that the house was just barely in tolerance to pass inspection, but it was sliding downhill on the end where fill dirt had been brought in during construction, and cracking along the line between the fill and the natural grade. However, each company offered very different proposals for what to do at this time. The proposal from Generocity was by far the most number of piers and the most intrusive. For the house: 26 exterior piers (4 with concrete breakouts) and 9 interior piers. For the car port: 6 exterior piers and 2 interior piers. The interior piers would all be done by breaking through the floors and slab, not by tunneling under the house. ** Given the amount of work proposed, Generocity’s price was reasonable. We just thought the amount of work proposed was excessive for the current condition of our house. We chose to go with a company that proposed work we thought to be more in line with the condition of our house.

You never want a foundation house right but if I had one I would want Derrick on my project.  He knows homes not just oops you have foundation issues.  He was open to everything I shared with him from another foundation companies review and the structural engineer.  Poor house screaming 'help me someone care' and he was not about to start crushing the house.  In fact he warned me the house would not make it, the whole thing would crack and he told me how slabs are poured.  A lot of variables with my project and his honesty was greatly appreciated on my journey.

The house is in a corner lot, and the street facing part of the house was sinking beyond allowed tolerance levels. This was bad enough that the door wouldnt close properly, there were ceiling cracks and a noticeably bad repair work done on them. They're recommendation was to add 12 or so pillars at key points to level the house. They were prompt, and were able to get it done on short notice. The fix, also, reopened ceiling cracks and made it so that the front door wouldnt close again. However, they did inform me prior, that this is likely, which I appreciated. I would recommend their services to anyone else having similar issues. Derek Denman, from Generocity, was patient with me throughout the whole process and was also available to answer any questions I had.

I would definitely use Generocity Foundation again.  It is very hard to find a foundation repair company that repairs pier and beam houses.  I believe Generocity Foundation repaired the house's foundation correctly. Thomas of Generocity Foundation met me at the house at the agreed time.  He called me promptly with a quote.  We agreed to a start date.  Generocity Foundation started on the agreed date and time.  After the crew started to work, they found additional repairs to be done which can be common with pier and beam houses.  Thomas called me promptly and explained what needed to be done, we agreed on the additional work.  Generocity finished the job sooner than I thought.  When I arrived to go over the work, Thomas met me and explained everything that was done.  He was very professional and thorough.

Was very impressed with Thomas' professional and courteous manner during the foundation inspection and explanation of the work to be done. Derek's oversight of the repair was very professional - good communication, very knowledgeable and patient in answering our questions. The work crew did a great job with the repair and cleanup. All work was done as promised and at a very fair price. By far, this has been our best experience with home repair so far. Would definitely recommend Generocity for foundation repair!
