I don't have the details of your invoice in front of me so I can't give the specific details but I can say we pride ourselves on sticking to our word which includes prices we quote. Unless there is a general automotive item we discover as part of our process, we always stick with the quote we give our customers. We don't do stand alone general auto repairs but do take care of mounts, rear main seals and even brake pads or rotors sometimes because we already have most of the labor covered when removing or servicing your transmission. It wouldn't make sense for us to put it all back together and then tell you to go down the street and pay to have it all done again and have more down time for your car. I'm assuming the $300 was for something like that. In either case, I again appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and I'm glad your overall experience was positive. "[Member Name Removed], I did not own the facility at the time of your repairs but am sorry to hear your overall experience wasn't as positive as it could have been. In this industry it is critical that we first, and foremost, earn the trust of the customer first and that we end it the same way. Some think I over communicate but I want to be an open book to my customers and let them know exactly what they're getting. I spend considerable time in the beginning to show them the process and even show them current customer transmissions to help them understand. I walk many through their own transmissions during the repairs if they are able and interested and save their old parts to show them when they come to pick up the car.
