The day of the 2nd cleaning I got a text stating that her electricity was out and wanted to know if she could reschedule for the next day. I understand that things happen that are beyond our control, so of course I agreed. She confirmed the appointment late that night by text. The next day I got another text, just an hour and a half before they were supposed to arrive. She stated that the construction job that they were working on was going to take 3 hours longer than expected. She said we got off to a bad start, so she didn't think we should reschedule. I was shocked! My house is dusty, but not cluttered. It could not have been that my house was difficult to clean. Besides, they are charging by the hour, so the longer it takes for them to clean, the more money they make. I was not unreasonable either, so I don't understand how they could leave me high and dry. I feel like I've been blown off!!
This is completely unprofessional!! Reliability is important. This company is NOT reliable!!
"First and foremost, her HOUSE was over 3500 sq ft, this should not be listed as an apartment cleaning. She was never left "high and dry". She cancelled 30 minutes before her first appointment while we were in transit to her home, she said she would call us back that day to reschedule, it took a week to hear back. By then, the next available appointment was weeks out. If we had an established relationship at that time, we would have had another appointments reserved for her on the calendar, however, we do not book multiple appointments for clients who we have yet to service. As she stated, we arrived on time, and we did a good job, so the "D" for punctuality and quality seems very inaccurate. As for the price, two cleaners we were in her home for 2.5 hours and she was charged $80. We told her we would honor that $80 price moving forward. For the second appointment, we attempted to inform her about the scheduling issue as soon as we were made aware of the situation. We were unable to reach her after two phone calls, so we resorted to text messaging. It wasn't until after her scheduled appointment did she respond to us. Our decision to end our business relationship with her had nothing to do with the condition of her home or any ending promotions we were running. We are not in the cleaning business to drop our customers with less than clean homes. It was her aggressiveness and abusive text messages we recieved that finalized our decision. We are always looking to improve, so since this incident, we have hired additional professional cleaners to accomodate our growing business and elliminate any further scheduling issues that may occur."
