Vaudeville

As an employee of a local vendor in Fredericksburg... I will never recommend Vaudeville to any one for anything! Especially someone wanting to host any form of party. There are many other venues in Fredericksburg that are exceptional when it comes to professionalism, customer service, prices, and working well with other local vendors. I can not say this about Vaudeville. We were recently hired to set up arrangements for a rehearsal dinner party at Vaudeville. The staff was very rude through out the entire process. The owner of our venue (we will call her A) actually tripped over a small step that was not properly marked falling and hurting her knees trying to save one of the arrangements. One of the Vaudeville employees (we will call him M) came over to her with no concern for her well being asking her to rectify the situation by cleaning up the mess. There was no mess... (A) knocked over a few glasses on the table when she bumped it on her way down... when (A) got up off of the floor she immediately started setting the glasses back up. The rude male employee (M) spoke very rudely towards her through out this entire incident. While (M) was speaking rudely towards (A) she said "they needed to fix the step or one day they might get sued". (M) sarcastically piped back with "people have already tried, but they have good lawyers". (M) then blew the whole situation out proportion. The Vaudeville employees were then told by (M) to completely undress the table and then redress it. Apparently they think 5 minutes of there unnecessary time is worth gold because they then charged the Party host $250.00 for 3rd party damage. What 3rd party damage? There was absolutely no damage at all. There was an all around lack of professionalism through this entire experience with Vaudeville!
