Someone dumped a toilet and a ceiling fan by the side of the road a short distance from my home. I wrote a short note including two 5 dollar bills asking the truck crew to please stop and get the items. I watched the men read the note, laugh, pocket the money, toss the note and envelope by the side of the road and drive away. The items were left by the side of the road.
I called the office and explained the situation. The lady at the office apologized sincerely, deducted an entire months charge and reprimanded the crew.
Another time, I had put some shingles out to be hauled away with the rest of the trash. The truck crew wouldn't take the shingles. I called the office, and once again, the lady apologized and saw to it that the shingles were taken on the next pickup. I have never spoken to anyone at the office who was less than very courteous and concerned with making sure that I was happy with the service.
