On September 14th, I visited Weston Gardens hoping to find someone to prepare beds in our yard for fall planting. I set up an appointment, and someone came out the next day to survey the yard. The consultation/evaluation service was very prompt and genial. That's where the positives stopped. We were told it would be about 2 weeks before we received a plan. It was a hair over 3. On Oct. 9th--24 days after the consultation--we received the plan. Then we were told it would be another 2-3 weeks before we could even get a quote of the price of the work that needed to be done. It's now been over three weeks (Oct. 31). My email went unanswered for 5 days, so I called them today. I was told to wait another week or so. Mr. Weston, who does the quotes, has been out of the office for the last week, apparently. And after receiving the quote, it would be another 3 weeks or so before any work actually got done. Perhaps I should have been more upfront about the timeline I expected, but I feel they should also have explained at the beginning of this process that it would take well over two months to get anything done. Had I known this process would take this long I'd not have wasted over $400 on a sketch of a garden plan that I could have drown up on my own in 15 minutes. ====== UPDATE: After a vociferous complaint and the negative review here, WG quickly scheduled and completed the work, which was done well and very professionally over about a three-day period. If you don't mind waiting months, they do good work.

I am quite happy (so far) with their service.
