From the beginning, I made it clear that, in addition to having our lawn watered, I wanted my flower beds and trees to receive adequate water, as well.
Wayne, the owner, assured us that he would take care of us. He did a nice drawing, but it didn't take into account what we had talked about. Wayne addressed my concerns by stating I must have misread the drawing.
He also told us his crews have all been with him for decades...and that these guys "...grew up working for me (him)..." When the crew arrived, we were not prepared. Wayne called me at work that morning to let me know his guys were coming over to start, but we had not finalized the plans.
My husband called me to ask what was going on, because Waynes crew was unloading heavy equipment.
His crew, we found, were in their twenties and only one spoke broken English.
They ripped into the lawn without regard for underground electrical wiring and cut through it in several places. His guys ss tried to hide what they had done and did a sloppy patch job and when I saw the way it was pig-tailed together in Southern-engineering style, we had to demand he have an experienced master electrician fix it.
His crew was largely unsupervised, sprinkler heads are not according to our plan and discussion, a tree root was unearthed and is still laying above ground, the flower beds are expected to get water meant for the lawn and there are areas that are not covered at all and we must hand-water to keep these areas from burning up. One sprinkler head is in the middle of the walkway, directly under the gate. No rhyme or reason on where some of the heads are placed.
I'd rather still be lugging long hoses around than use this company.
Terrible communication, lied about his crews experience and how well they would be supervised, poor follow-up, and never bothered to provide the final orientation he promised.
