Hank at Universal Systems is a highly-skilled designer and installer of home automation systems.  I have known and benefited from Hank?s extraordinary talents and positive attitude for the past 15 years.  He has automated three of my homes and will be soon automating the four home.  His ability to design and implement the most complicated integrated home automation of lighting, audio/video, climate, security and other systems far surpasses his competition.  To the user, local and remote control of home automation systems is simple from wall plates, tablets, laptops and smart phones.  In particular, Hank is exceptionally proficient in installing and programming Crestron systems, which most installers struggle to implement.  Consequently, I employed Hank to redesign and install new equipment and wiring to replace a competitor?s dysfunctional system in my out-of-state home.  In addition to his competence, Hank has a refreshing attitude of imagination and willingness.  He is not defensible when he makes a mistake, which he quickly and competently corrects.  Hank truly stands above the crowd.  Hank and his team at Universal Systems are a indispensable resource in this high-tech world.

They have kept coming back and forth for different jobs at our house. Last time, we called them as one of the components in the home theatre?s stack was not working. The representative came out, checked it out and informed my husband that the power surge was fraud. He also informed us to buy a new one so he could come back and fix it up. They were punctual and professional.

I WAS INITIALLY IMPRESSED, ACTUALLY CHOSE THESE PEOPLE OVER OTHER BIDDERS FOR THE JOB. THE QUALITY OF THE EQUIPMENT WAS GREAT, BUT FELT MISLED OVER WHAT I NEEDED VS WHAT I WAS LED TO BELIEVE I NEEDED. WHEN TRYING TO GET FOLLOW UP ON PROBLEMS (YOU KNOW, THE USUAL LITTLE ONES THAT FREQUENTLY OCCUR AFTER AN INSTALLATION), THEY WERE POOR ABOUT RETURNING PHONE CALLS (THE SERVICE MAN WILL GET BACK TO YOU...), AND THEY WERE VERY INFLEXIBLE IN SETTING UP A TIME THAT WAS MUTUALLY CONVENIENT. IN ANOTHER ENCOUNTER, AGAIN IN TRYING TO HAVE THE SYSTEM RE-EVALUATED, I HAD TO THREATEN TO GO TO THE BBB BEFORE I COULD GET A GOOD RESPONSE.
